Great location. Given very large room with side view to George Square. Very clean and comfortable. Not overly modern but still very acceptable. Staff at reception very professional and friendly.
Table booked for evening meal. Lovely table in front conservatory area with view of the Square. Restaurant staff reasonably attentive. They did not have my chosen wine available and we ordered steak which was quite pricey and we did not feel was of great standard.
Breakfast good quality with various choices.

Went for cocktails here, and was really sad to see how run down this hotel is looking! Everything is old and a bit sad looking. Covers on the chairs are shabby and don't fit, tables are well past their best and yet they can still charge £14 for two drinks!?!
Only thing going for this Sad old Lady is location , location, location!

Arrived here last minute as the hotel we were meant to be in had booked over us! We got here last minute and got a room no bother, the reception service was great and the bar staff during the day! Rooms were a bit small and there was no big light in the middle of the room only 1 little table lamp? Bathroom was nice and clean though!

Oh dear ! Thank goodness I was only here for a nights sleep ! The location was great as its right at the train station. I didn't eat here so I cannot comment on the cuisine. However.....the rooms were dark and dingy. It is all in need of painting to freshen it up ! My double room was 2 single beds pushed together and when i untucked the bed cover at the bottom of the bed the quilt was popping out....it was filthy and very worn....Disgusting !!
Had I not arrived so late in the evening i think i would of complained and moved on !! The carpets, curtains need replacing and there are no adapters by the bed.
This could be a fabulous hotel but it was very disappointing.

Lovely hotel in centre of Glasgow with great view over George square (if requested). The staff were so lovely and attentive. The rooms really do need a little love - our room had an enormous damp patch on the ceiling it was very unsightly and quiet big. The rooms were clean enough but the bathroom needed just a little upgrading.

We stayed at the Millennium for 3 nights this month. Having stayed at another Millennium and being very impressed I had high expectations and didn't mind paying that bit more for something that I thought was going to be impressive. The hotel is in desperate need of some tlc - it was noisy (we got woken up every morning by the train announcements from the station next door), it wasn't overly clean - most things in the room didn't work.....the light, hairdyer and kettle were all faulty. In short, I felt that I'd paid for good quality and didn't receive it. Pay half the price for a Travelodge/Premier Inn and get better value would be my advice for anyone considering staying here.

Room Tip: Stay as far away from the station side as possible.

Stayed here for 2 nights on a B & B and dinner on the first night basis. Hotel lobby was very modern and clean and check in was smooth.
Had a room on the 4th floor and it turned out to be in the eaves. The room was huge and spotlessly clean but very tired and in need of a make over.
Bed was very comfortable and the room had all the amenities your would expect.
Room had a view of the back of Queen Street Station and Buchanan Galleries, but for being in the centre of a city, there was no noise disturbance at all.
The location of the hotel was fabulous, hence the reason for choosing it.
We had dinner on the first night in the hotel restaurant as this was part of the deal we had booked and it was lovely. No complaints about the food, either from dinner or the buffet breakfast in the morning.
Would return to the Millennium in George Square as I feel we had value for money, but rooms need to be spruced up and maintained.
