Can only give a short review as hotel was only used as a place to sleep(arriving home in the early hours and back out by 10am)and shower. Arrived early but was immediately given a room, very clean and the shower was lush. Only had one encounter with staff and she was great. Cost was a little bit expensive. We were here in July 2011.

Stayed for 2 nights as needed somewhere cheap and close to city centre. And it was ideal. However, there did not seem to be many staff, which meant waiting to be served for ages. Did not eat in the hotel as it is so close to many restaurants and whetherspoons was great for a cheap breakfast.

Stayed here with work a few weeks ago (for two weeks in total).... What an introduction to Glasgow!

The room was in poor condition and needed a good clean... Stains on curtains, carpet and light stains on bed sheets. I went to reception to speak to management and found a female member of staff loudly arguing with a customer about a similar issue so decided to leave it.

The breakfast was awful with the greasiest / fattiest bacon you ever saw, rubbery scrambled egg and poor sausages which clearly had been re-heated as they were so tough. I complained to one of the ladies clearing the tables who simply shrugged it off.

A budget hotel should have basic standards!

I work for a national company who work regularly in Glasgow. I have filed a complaint and have ensured that none of our staff will be subjected to this hotel again!

Best avoided!

As good (and as average) as it gets for an Ibis - basic, dull decor, uninspiring rooms,
but cheap, centrally located, and gives you a good nights' sleep.

Glasgow Centre Ibis is a short stroll away from all central Glasgow attractions
as well as Airport Bus stops.

Breakfast very (very) basic.

Clean bedrooms and kind service a plus

Room Tip: Top floors tend to be quieter

Stayed for 1 night and it was ideal, easy access to Glasgow central, cheap room, basic but comfortable. Very clean room, would stay again. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, didn't have any food but it did look nice.

we have just returned from the Ibis hotel glasgow. we have stayed here many times and we shall return. this week was more expensive because its graduation week and lots of other stuff on too. it has a central location. the hotel ia clean and very warm. the rooms are basically furnished but clean and the beds are comfortable. the room is made up every day and coffees / teas replenished. we have not eaten there but there is food now available 24/7. the hotel is not far from allnearby attractions and bars and resuarants. i have been going to galsgow 2-3 times every yeard for the last 2 years. i have never had a bad meal out infact i have just eaten in the hanoi bike shop, the bothy, jamie olivers and the new big thai in the town hall/chambers- ebry one lovely - if you want posh 5 * go for it - if you want a good clean 2 * try the ibis its fine. only snag- it can be noisy on a friday sat night with hen parties ect.
