Very reasonably priced in a great location within easy access to all the hot spots in Glasgow. Right opposite the police headquarters so felt very safe. Near Blythswood square which is a very expensive part of Glasgow. Would recommend this hotel as you dont need any better.

Room Tip: Choose rooms on opposite side to the police headquarters as there is some traffic noise

We stayed in the hotel on New Year's Eve.

I ordered a twin room. Was given a disabled room, which wouldn't fit a wheel chair in let alone 2 sharing friends.

The bathroom was large nethertheless.

The TV guide was broken, the beds were comfortable, had to wait an hour and a half for food in the bar at 7:30pm. It was quiet, and quite clean. About 10-15 minute walk from the city centre if you know where you are going.

Quite an average hotel.

We stayed here for two nights over New Year. The hotel is a little walk from the actual city Centre but is very good value for money. It is surrounded by interesting pubs and eateries which you expect to see near a budget hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was a little disappointing as we asked for a twin room. We were given the children's room which is attached to the family room. It was very small and the bathroom arrangements did not lend themselves to two sharing friends. The sliding door did not shut properly and the 'bathroom experience' was a little too 'cosy' for our liking. Overall a good hotel experience though. I would stay in an Ibis hotel again..

Dear Madam

Thank you for adding your review to our website, I am sorry you felt the room was a little small. We do have other rooms so we should have offered this to you as an alternative.

I do hope this has not put you off using Ibis again in the future.

Stayed here for 3 nights and found the hotel to be very centrally located to the shopping areas, restaurants, pubs and train station, 5-10 minute walk at the most. The hotel is on a side street, so it was nice and quiet at night, no issues sleeping at all!

The room was well laid out (night stand on both sides, kettle, hair dryer - no iron though, lots of power sockets, closet), clean and had good hot water pressure. It was a very affordable hotel room, but was much more comfortable and clean than other hotels I have stayed in that cost a lot more. It far exceeded my expectations given the nightly room rate compared to other hotels in glasgow.

The only issue we had during out stay is that there is no free wifi in the hotel, we did pay for internet but the signal was still pretty bad, it kept cutting in and out. If I was staying here a business traveller or had work to do, it might be very frustrating.

It is two streets down from Charing Cross Station. So.. quite convenient, but ... don't take too heavy luggage with you. However, it is not very convenient if you use Glasgow Airport Shuttle Bus which only stops in City Centre (Waterloo street, George Square & Buchanan Station).

Suggestion (with 1 big luggage and 1 hand luggage): Take Airport Shuttle Bus (GBP5.00), stop at West George Street, then... you see Sainbury's at your front left and Tron Church is behind you .Before passing Sainbury's (orange logo) and The Weatherspoon (a bistro which offers cheap food and drinks), see the Queen Street Station (Train Station) at your left, take the blue logo train, not the subway (orange), go to Charing Cross Station, then continue with walking appx 8 mins to iBis hotel. You will feel far if you usually drive.

Breakfast is very delicious and value for money. Room is good enough if you are not expecting to play in the room, just for sleeping (typical style of Ibis Hotel).

Very good service from staff and housekeeping (helped me to set up free internet connection in my laptop). There are no free internet if you use the hotel's computer. So..bring along your iPad, Tablets or Laptop.

Walking distance to shops (mobile phone shops, Primark, TkMax, etc). But, it may take 25 mins walk if you want to go to the City Centre (G1 area), such as St. Enoch and Argyle Street. So...better to take the train.
