Stayed here for a night during a weekend. The hotel is located in a quiet side of the city centre, but this is good! (quiet night sleep) Check-in was quick and staffs were helpful with getting around in city centre. Beds were super comfortable! They had this leaflet in the room talking about the layers of their beds and I am amazed by it. Large bathroom, warm water, clean beds.. its value for money!

Stayed here for one night with my grown son. First problem, was the room looked directly out onto an office block. There was not net curtain or blind, so the whole time the curtain was closed. 2nd, the door for the toilet was a sliding door, but rather short of door frame. So, you could actually see in the toilet when using it! I asked the room attendant where I might find an iron? She said iron? I said yes, too iron my top. she said she did not know I should go as at reception. So off I went to reception, only to be told the ironing room was on the floor I was in, just around the corner? Very basic Ibis, but good beds though. No great location if you require ease of access for bus station and Queens street.

Friendly reception, very clean room, hairdryer in room which was great as I normally have to call reception for this. I would say the only fault was the tardis like shower in the bathroom. A bit claustrophobic.
We didnt eat in the Hotel so cannot comment on that but the restaurant/Bar area looked quite nice.
Ok for 1 night

Dear Sir

Thank you for your review, I am sorry you were disturbed by the roadworks outside the hotel which also resulted in the water being cut off for one hour. This is fortunately a rare event and one utwith our control .

I do hope you will allow us to welcome you back and ensure you have a trouble free stay.

I agree with the reviews on this page. Spotless hotel with helpful, friendly staff. Our room was at the back of the building and there was a letter from the Manager warning of road repairs in the back lane and possible noise, however we heard very little as the windows were fairly well soundproofed. We asked for extra coffee and sugar from reception a request that was met with a smile and swift service. Overall we are planning another trip back to Glasgow in the New Year and will stay here again.
