“Not as close to city attractions as expected but served it's purpose.”
Reviewed October 5, 2012

This hotel was a bit further from City Center than I expected but not more than a ten minute walk. Right around the corner from Sauchiehall Street.

The bed was fairly comfortable. Honestly, the true surprise for me was the amazing water pressure in the shower. Sounds silly, I know but it can be really hard to find that in European hotels. No problems with cleanliness or comfort.

It was a bit noisy (could hear our neighbors shower, walking, etc.) but I may have been more sensitive after spending six days in the quiet countryside. Also, we were there on a Friday and Saturday night so that probably also had an effect. The noise never adversely affected my sleep though.

I found it to be a very budget-friendly option walkable to the heart of the city.

Usually staying in hotels like this causes me nightmares with noise from other guests but these were brilliant rooms, no noise and excellent black out curtains so I could fully relax.
Lovely bar thats open very late which is handy and although I didn't have the breakfast the room had lovely modern seating.
The bathrooms and showers are brilliant but bring your own hair products because the shampoo is very poor quality.

I would love to stay again next time I'm in Glasgow.

I have used this hotel a few times now when going to Glasgow. I have managed to get some good deals to stay here. The hotel is easy to check in/out and is clean and tidy, It is basic, but rooms are comfortable and spacious with tea/coffee facitlites and a hairdryer in the room. Shower is good too. The best thing about the hotel is the location. It is about a 10 minute walk to get into the very centre of Glasgow, and not too far from where the main airport bus drops off..
Charing Cross Station is 2-3 mins walk away, and there are plenty of restaurants and bars around including King Tuts Wahwah hut.

Location is probably the best thing the hotel has going, near the shops, restaurants and bus routes.

The rooms are not that spacious while the bathrooms are all in one space pods with shower units not baths. Great water pressure in the shower though.

My room was not the cleanest with rather stained flooring. The bed was comfortable enough, TV reception was fine once you get the hang of the remote. No safe in the room that I could find. Certainly no charming view to behold from the window. A little noisey at times especially when the hotel next door is emptying the bottles!

Wifi is free in the lobby but charged in the rooms. Breakfast is extra but given the quality of coffee shops around would recommend avoiding the in-house offering.

Not much in the way of luxury but a cheap bed for the night if you avail of the deals.

This hotel is very easy to check-in/check-out. It is very modern, clean, and basic, but wonderful for convenience sake. Would stay here again in a minute. Free wifi in the lobby that was fast and never failed. Walking distance to King Tut's Wahwah Hut, and the O2 ABC. Loved it!

We stayed here for one night. The room was fairly big and had tea/coffee, TV, hairdryer and Wifi was available for a charge ( free down in the main reception area). The room was clean and the bed very comfy. The bathroom was fairly spacious with a good shower.
We managed to get an early check in which was very handy. The bar/ restaurant looked nice but we didn't eat in the hotel so can't comment on the food.
The hotel is about a 15/20min walk from Central Station. It is a good location , near the Kings Theatre and Sauchiehall street.

Stayed here on business at short notice - and got a good price which was slightly more than the usual budget hotels.
Check in was easy - I'd booked online so it should have been. The gentleman on reception was friendly and very helpful and a credit to the hotel.
Room was of a decent size - and I was impressed by the shower. A little wear and tear but very clean.
The food in available seemed competitively priced if rather limited in range. I didn't eat there as was meeting friends at The Griffin just around the corner but a colleague did and said it was excellent.
Breakfast was buffet style - but was tasty and the service to refilling and clearing was attentive.
The hotel is located on the city centre outskirts but still well situated for many bars and restaurants. There is the large Kings Theatre nearby so it would be great for taking in a show.

I was very pleased with the service and quality at this hotel - particularly for the bargain price I paid - I'd choose to stay there again.
