Visited Buchanan Galleries, then walked from the top of Buchanan street down to the bottom. What a great atmosphere, thousands of shoppers out bargain hunting in the New Year sales, the sound of bagpipes, and the smell of winter spice cadles spilling out from the shops onto the street. The bonus - the weather was fine!

This famous street has the best and most diverse shopping in the UK outside London. You can move over short distances from great covered shopping in Princess Square to Victorian stone built shops in the famous Street.

Whether window shopping or buying there is something here for everyone.If you don't want to do either then take a moment to admire the architecture of this truly amazing city.
