A bit out of the way and nearby parking can be a challenge (I didn't check to see if they had customer parking).
Very relaxed atmosphere but staff still give attention to detail. Staff are very friendly and clearly have received good training. I attended on business but would go back for business or pleasure.

Dear KieranG

Thank you for your review.

We have a large barrier controlled car park on the west side of the hotel.

I look forward to welcoming you back in the future.

Clearly caters for the event/conference client, jumped up Premier Inn, you can tell it was a City Inn in a previous life, staff and food was good, Hilton Standard but please be aware this is not the Hilton as I know it. Stay at the Glasgow Hilton 5 mintes away and you will experience the proper Hilton.

Dear Irene M

Thank you for your review.

Hilton Garden Inn offers a different concept and style to other Hilton brands.

It is disappointing that despite stating you found the food and service to be good that you would prefer to stay another brand.

Kind Regards
Brian

The hotel is probably best for those coming to convention center. If you're a tourist - best to take tourist buses that stop by hotel. But no real neighborhood to eat/walk around.
But clean, new, and reliable buffet breakfast good for kids.

Room Tip: Tourist buss pass is necessary unless you want to take taxis everywhere.

Dear d r

Thank you for your review.

The sight-seeing bus that stops outside the hotel is indeed a great way to get round the city.

Several bars and restaurants are a short walking distance from the hotel, including 3 located across the road from our main entrance.

Kind Regards
Brian

I stay here whenever in Glasgow and through its various brands have always been inpressed. This time not so - simply becasue the room I have been given is soul less, it is an adapted room for wheelchair use and is simply stark and bland. Usual refinements of Mac computer, fast wifi, excellent staff and a great gym have made up to it but avoid the rather depressing room 426 if you can Excellent location for the City and the SSEC and surrounding area and attractions.

I stay at the HGI Glasgow on a regular basis for business and the overall experience is very good. The on site parking and room facilities are very good such as Imac and internet access. The only negative I have found has been the breakfast that has not been very good.
