We stayed here on the 7th of june in one of the lovely queen rooms facing the river. The room was lovely and the pillows, sheets, infact the whole bed was simply amazing!!! We had dinner in the hotel and unfortuneatley it was a let down. I ordered a rare steak and after a very lengthy wait (they were not that busy) i recieved my steak that i was craving and it was cooked well done!!! Rather big mistake for a chef of "hilton" standards. It was corrected and 2nd time round unfortuneatley it was blue rather than rare but not to worry i ate it. Didnt want to complain about it again. The cut of meat was very poor and not what i would of expected. Breakfast the next morning made up for it as it was top class! Best brekfast i have had for a while. Very good selection!!! I felt the staff where very helpfull and courteous. The night manager on the desk is rather quiet and a smile would of been nice. Special thanks to Nicola and Michelle for organising our stay, these 2 are a credit and asset to the company. Overall excusing a couple of "misshaps" i would say very good, a few tweeks would make excellent!

Excellent location along the river Clyde. Great breakfast and the hotel is situated perfectly for sightseeing bus tours. Their is great food at the rotunda across the street and the sightseeing double decker bus comes right out front frequently.

The transportation museum is close and free! Room was small but comfy! The night shade was genius as it stays light till lat at this time of day.

Staff was incredible both on the desk and breakfast area.

Room Tip: Ask for a river view

Dear S Daniel G

Thank you for awarding us 5/5 during your stay to celebrate your anniversary.

The sight-seeing bus that stops outside the hotel is a great way to see Glasgow and stops include the nearby transport museum.

Rooms a fairly small but scrupulously clean and more than adequate for a business trip.

Check in and out was really prompt and the staff were friendly.

The gym is open 24 hours and is small but with 5 CV stations and a good set of dumb bells.

I will be staying here again when I next visit Glasgow for business.

Stayed recently when exhibiting at SECC. Its very convenient and only a brief walk to SECC.
Check in was fast and efficient, staff polite and helpful.
The room was fine, I had a river view really nice. And free WIFI even an apple mac to surf the net on.
I did eat one night in the restaurant and here there was an issue. I have been on a health / diet kick since January [ lost over two stones since you ask] I ordered the fish and chips it was around £12
They must have known about the diet thing as the fish wouldn't have looked out of plaice in a gold fish bowl. It was accompanied by four chips and a few peas. There was more white on the plate than anything else. Not good value.
Breakfast was the usual buffet but food on offer was decent enough with pleasant and helpful staff.
There is a nice terrace area overlooking the river where you can sit with a book and glass of wine on a fine evening.

Apart from a few niggles regarding the restaurant this is a fine hotel. As for food just wander out the door turn right and take yourself to the India Quay.

The Hotel was recently renovated and the rooms are very modern looking, and include Apple TV and an Apple computer. It was very clean, but the rooms seemed quite small to me. Two people with suitcases filled it up to the point of being crowded. The fixtures and furnishings were all like new, and they even managed to squeeze in a refrigerator. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They put on a nice breakfast and have a dining area outside by the river which is quite pleasant in warmer weather. I do have to comment their Ice Machine. There is only one and it is in the lobby near the front desk and it is gross. They really need to make sure it gets cleaned more frequently. This was surprising for an otherwise spotless hotel. It is in a nice location for visiting downtown Glasgow.

Room Tip: Get a room on the river side, it is quite a nice view

This is not a destination hotel, situated as it is on an under-developed part of the river. The city centre will not be within easy walking distance for many people. Luckily, Glasgow has an excellent and cheap taxi service.
The hotel is a perfectly adequate just-4* commuter hotel. The rooms are tiny, and the bathroom postage-stamped size. If you are any larger than UK average, turning around in the bathroom may be a problem. On the plus side, each room has an Apple computer, and internet access, though I am not sure for how long that is for free.
The breakfast buffet was so-so, with some very inattentively prepared food in what is basically a free for all. The hotel is a decent launch pad for a night out on the town, or crash-pad if you are at a wedding or party, but I wouldn't recommend it if you are staying for longer than a couple of nights.

Dear alexisbdemille

Thank you for your review.

I am sorry you do not feel our location is ideal, located beside the SECC and the new Hydro arena over-looking the river Clyde this area is developing into one of the most sought after areas in Glasgow.

The iMac in your room offers unlimited complimentary internet access to all guests, in addition to the complimentary Wifi throughout the hotel and business centre located on the ground floor.

Kind Regards
Brian
