All in all it's a nice place. Rooms well appointed - clean tidy - usually good rates as well and of course .... There's Apple Macs in each room :-). Staff friendly and helpful Good location and just a 2 minute walk to the SECC and Clyde Auditorium great view of the 'squinty ' bridge and the BBC and STV studios

After a night in a supposed other 4 star hotel,we arrived here enquiring about booking in for the remainder of our stay in Glasgow. We first of all spoke to Viktoria,a very friendly, bubbly and helpful receptionist, who made our stay in the city all the more appealing. Her overall approach to her job is a credit to her employer. We were also introduced to Nicola(area sales manager) very helpful. The room was spotless, the breakfast was spot on,with plenty selection for all tastes.Free wi-if was another bonus for us.WE would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone and we will certainly be retuning here.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a river view

Dear Rosemary M

Thank you for such a wonderful review and recommending our hotel.

Our complimentary Wifi, in addition to the iMacs in the bedrooms make us an ideal choice when you want to keep in touch with family and the news on the internet.

Kind Regards,
Brian

Stayed here as was attending a concert at the Secc last night.
Room was slightly on the small size but was good quality.
Felt the bar and food prices were OTT, had a very good meal instead in the bistro at the secc.

Breakfast was a let down I felt having had a great cooked breakfast at another hotel the last couple of mornings.

What happen to the swimming pool ?? it wasnt in the hotel and when I went looking for it after asking at reception and I couldnt fine it anywhere !

Dear Kirsteen P

Thank you for sharing your recent experience.

It is disappointing that you feel our food and drink prices to be too high, we have recently refreshed our menus to ensure value for money, offering main courses from £9.

I am sorry you could not find the nearby health and fitness centre, it is a 2 minute walk from the hotel and I apologise if the directions given by reception were not clear.

Kind Regards
Brian

Stayed here on business. The room was very comfortable and had an Apple TV/computer which was a bit different. The hotel also has an out of hours snack bar called the "pantry" which stocks ready meals, cereal bars and biscuits for out of hours munching. Free wi-fi is also available.

Parking is £5 per night and there was plenty of space available.

The staff are all very friendly and helpful and I had a good sleep each night, despite being right next to the main road the last two nights I was there. I recommend the rooms on the River Clyde side of the hotel as there is a lovely view of the River and the "Squinty Bridge".

The food is also very good and room service was prompt.

Be warned though, this hotel is very close to the SECC and the Clyde Auditorium so the bar can be pretty full on concert nights.

Dear ScottishB

Thank you for reviewing your recent stay

Our Pantry in the lobby is proving very popular with guests offering snacks and travelling products that guests may have forgotten to pack in their bag.

We are located beside the SECC and demand can be high at times however we open up the restaurant after concerts to allow more guests to be seated.

Kind Regards
Brian

Great location short taxi or 20 min walk from city centre on the river so pleasant views. Small bathroom but clean, nice room, good internet access, slightly hard bed. Excellent breakfast, customer service and useful little 'pantry' shop in reception for those annoying little things you have forgotten and good snack service. Would stay again.

Room Tip: Ask for river view room
