Stayed on a three night break and could find no faults with the hotel at all. We were greeted by friendly staff who assisted in all that was asked over the stay and the room had everything required and was spotless.well done!
The location is excellent for the SSEC and city centre and there is also a stop for the city tour buses outside which offers a great way to get ones bearings round the city which has so much to see for all tastes! Lovely outside area to eat out or enjoy a drink by the riverside and reasonable parking adjacent.Thank you Hilton, will be back (when the rain stops!!)

Room Tip: room with river view a must

Stayed here with friends, the rooms are lovely and spacious, the bathrooms have showers only, but they have good pressure, a nice wake up!! The TV also doubles as a computer great for business travellers. The beds are very comfy, had a great nights sleep!!!
We were very well looked after by Chris Hearne & his team in our private room, the food was first class. Breakfast was everything you need with an amazing addition of a waffle machine!! Smothered in Maple syrup, how could i refuse!!
Thanks JS for organising a great reunion!!

Room Tip: As for a River view

My husband and I stayed here when attending a concert at the SECC. It is only a few minutes walk away from the venue and a short taxi ride from the city centre.
Our check in was quick and courteous. Our room was smallish but was fully equipped and suited our needs; Mac/TV, tea and coffee making facilities, plenty of room for storage, wine glasses, area information and a bathroom with toiletries and hairdryer. (My husbands only complaint was that there were no biscuits!) The room itself was clean and had tasteful decor. The bed was very comfortably with great pillows. Not a great view from our room (car park) but we booked the cheapest room for our purposes and I'm sure a river view would have cost extra and this isn't something we were terribly concerned about.
Our only complaint was at the bar. We ordered two pints of Budweiser and the cost of this left us both speechless..£9.90! Even by Glasgow 4star hotel standards this is very high! As a result we spent the rest of our time before and after the concert at the nearby Crowne Plaza hotel where two pints of Staropramen cost only £8.20. We will probably stay at the CP the next time we attend at event at the SECC because of this.
However if you're not planning on using the bar I would recommend the Hilton.

Room Tip: Rooms with a better view may cost a little more

This is the second time I've stayed here (first time for work, and this time for a short break) and I've yet to find a negative. For the reasonable price it's an excellent hotel, with good quality rooms, and helpful and enthusiastic staff. The carpark is a major plus and £5 a day is good value. It's slightly out of the city centre but it's a 25 min walk into the city, or 5 mins to Argyle Street and it's numerous pubs, bars and restaurants. It's next door to the SECC and on the riverside, and the open top bus goes past the hotel.

The rooms have an iMac and comfortable beds, a good heating/fan system and powerful shower. All in all a good base for a weekend break, or if you're visiting the SECC.

Room Tip: Riverside rooms will, unsurprisingly, have a riverside view.

Another succesfull trip to the Hilton Garden. We stayed for 4 nights and had 16 friends join us for the last 2. This was a srprise for my 50th birthday and the hotel staff were fantastic in keeping it quiet and setting me up!!!!
One small thing that our party did not like was on the Saturday night there was a private function on and we could not access the bar, no big problem as they had set up a bar in one of the function suites, but the drinks on offer were sparse, a choise of 2 bottled beers and 4 spirits was about all on offer. Like I already said not a big problem, but I'm sure that residents would like more choice.
Staff were first class, we never ate in the restaurant but have done on previous visits and can reccomend it.

I was impressed with this hotel!

The location is great, overlooking the water and the building, whilst a tad utilitarian, is very clean and fresh. My room was small but functional and everything worked. It was spotlessly clean!

The bed could have been more comfortable.

I was pleasantly surprised the quality of the dinner I chose. The service was good and my steak was one of the best I have ever tasted. The wine list was pretty good too.

I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. It's good value for money and the staff great.
