I had a very brieff visit to this hotel, one night only for a midweek concert and although didn't use much of what is to offer, the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was spotless, comfortable and relaxing.
The breakfast was to die for and just what was needed to set me up for the day.

Well done, will most certainly be back.

if you google the hotel under "hilton" it is still in the wrong place but if you google it under it's old name "Mint" it is in the correct place. Car park now has barriers (Request card from receptionist). Chose to eat in the bar and watch the rugby (instead of the restaurant). Served by a very attentative, friendly and knowlegeable waiter (David). Able to to walk to SECC from the hotel and the Hydro when it completes next year. Taxis are readily available and know it by either name (Mint or Hilton) Signage to hotel is for Mint. Clean and modern

Your compliment for David is very welcome and it is great that his hard work has been recognised.

We are working with the local council to change the direction signs and hope they will be changed soon.

We were just back from holiday and were going to an event at SECC before heading home. It was great to be able to collapse at a city hotel instead of a long drive home. Easy to find, parking no problem, friendly and efficient check-in. No river view, but we'd got a cheap deal from a booking site so hadn't expected more than a standard room. Plenty space for a one-night stay, even with our holiday luggage. Loads of storage, iron and board, hair dryer (it's in a bag on back of bathroom door!) and of course the iMac tv which was a novelty! Free wifi.
We had fancied eating at Yen across the road but it was full so we ate in the City Cafe in the hotel. Again friendly and efficient service, knowledgeable about the menu. Envied the next table's fish and chips but we'd chosen the pork fillet and pasta special which didn't disappoint.
Breakfast open until a very civilised 11am and still plenty time for 12pm checkout. Fried eggs done to order. Even kept our plates warm with our buffet choices until they were ready and brought to table. Great service! Staff not just there to snatch your plate away as so often seems the way at buffets! Good coffee, real fresh orange juice.
Will definitely stay again, especially if going to SECC.

Located close to some of my favourite bars/ restaurants in Glasgow my partner and I had every reason to venture out, however this hotel and it's staff have so much to offer we decided to stay in house.

From first point of contact to last Receptionist- Maria, was extremely friendly and helpful as were the restaurant and bar staff, Waiter- David, particularly shone.

Both myself and my partner enjoyed a deliciously inventive past dish.

The restaurant and our guest room boasted evening views over the Clyde and illuminated bridge, we were both taken back by how great the city looks in the evening!

I would more than recommend this hotel and particularly enjoyed the more relaxed feel that the Garden Inn brand offers, the in room Apple Macs and complimentary wifi are a great touch!

Thank You!

Booked here because we had tickets for show at SeECC - literally minutes away. Staff were most helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

If you go to Glasgow for being near the inner city, this hotel might seem a bit far outside. However, with its nice rooms, view over the river, and most of all, its price it might be worthwhile to consider the costs of some taxi rides, compared to some of the inner-city expensive hotels. The beds are VERY comfortable, and it's much quiter here than downtown. AND: There is an Apple computer with Internet for free use in every room!

Room Tip: Try to get one with river-views

Dear MK1Barry

Thank you for sharing your experience on Tripadvisor.

I am delighted that you found our beds comfortable – we have recently replaced every bed during our refurbishment.

Glasgow Taxis are one of the cheapest in the UK and the short trip to the shopping district should cost around £5.

Kind Regards,
Brian
