Owner description: The medieval Glasgow Cathedral has been in constant use for worship for over 800 years, and is of great architectural and historic interest. Highlights include one of the finest post-war collections of stained glass windows in Britain, and the ceiling in the Blackadder Aisle which was built around 1500 by Archbishop Blackadder. Cared for by Historic Scotland and open to visitors throughout the year from 9.30am except Sundays when it is open at 1pm. Recitals and special family events are a regular feature. Closing times vary seasonally.

I loved to see this historic monument. it also worth to visit underground, and after it the necropolis, which is just a 100meter additional walk + if you go up...

The cathedral is really stunning. The glasses are really nice and the place is very well conserve with a hugr focus on the visitors. You can find information in all mayor languages and the people around is really friendly and helpful. It is one of the things which are worth to visit

When you think you had seen it all, just go down to the lower church and you will be amazed. Lots of history of this surviving Cathedral. A must go!

The cathedral is sometimes skipped by tourists because it's a hike from the centre city; however, it's definitely worth a visit. It's the only medieval cathedral on the Scottish mainland to have survived the Reformation virtually complete. Dating from 1136, the cathedral is still in use. In fact, a funeral service was being conducted on the day we visited, adding to the awe-inspiring experience. The Necropolis cemetery lies just above.

Stained glass wonderful but the stone lacks the warmth of the lovely houses to be seen in Glasgow. Not the best cathedral I have visited.
