What a fantastic place to have next to Georges Square. The staff were attentive & helpful. The food out of this world, ambiance exceptional & only complaint was the choice of drinks were limited especially as I dont drink alcohol. The building you have to see to believe it. Never seen so much marble outside Italy. Please go & visit. Thanks to the Lord Provost

we went along to hear the 50th Anniversary concert of the Glasgow Senior Citizens' Orchestra which was held in the City Chambers. This is my first visit to the City Chambers and I was very impressed. It is a public space and I believe that visiting is encouraged. Certainly it is worth going along to see what the victorian architects and tradesmen were able to do with marble. the banqueting hall, where the Orchestra played, was truly breathtaking. As to the Orchestra, thier performance made me realise what good music is all about.

What a beautiful building. Well worth the time to take a guided tour. Incredible architecture. And a lot of history about the city.

This absoluetly beautiful building has an impressive staircase with a high ceiling and pillars and carvings. The building contains several function rooms, all of which were comfortable and in good decorative state.

On entry into the City Halls you will be amazed at the amount of imported marble used in the making of the grandeur staircases, balustrades and other very ornate carvings etc. As a working City Hall, access may be prevented at times but is a very memorable experience. Lots more to see and read about the history of Glasgow. Unforgettable visit.
