We chose this little hotel for my parents inlaw so they could visit us for Christmas & New Year and because they needed a ground floor bedroom/bathroom which we could not provide at home.
Right from the point of booking to the time my husband collected them on the last day nothing was too much trouble. They provided extra heating during the sub zero temperatures, recommended local resturants, organised taxis.
If you prefer good family run hotels that care about their customers over glossy, impersonal chain hotels then we cannot recommend Manor Park highly enough.
This is a charming and typical Glasgow house that would probably have provided very grand accommodation for a very rich merchant in times past, close to the leafy Victoria Park. However, I must point out that the new road system does some what block the park view but it is easily accessible by the subway in a quiet residential part of town. Enjoy your stay!

Really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean warm and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent and cooked to perfection. We had nothing to find fault with.

What a great place. Such nice, friendly people (Angus and Cathy) greeted us when we arrived and seemed genuinely interested in what we were doing. They made us a great breakfast in the morning and we were sad to leave. The rooms are large and comfortable, they have a nice homely feel and we were thankful for the peace and quiet after staying at other hotels where the walls were paper thin. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice, relaxing and comfortable stay in Glasgow
