Reviewed October 7, 2017 for a stay in September 2017

Fully self contained annexe of a lovely victorian house in leafy suburb in Glasgow's West End. Minutes walk fron Byres Road and easy access to all local attractions including Kelvingrove Museum and Gallery, Hunterian, Transport museum, Botanic Gardens etc. A cozy retreat after a day out and about, fully furnihed kitchen/ diner cozy bedroom. Access to lovely terraced garden at back of property and friendly, helpful owners Annie and Roger. Hope to stay again soon.

“Cottage stay”
Reviewed September 1, 2017 for a stay in August 2017

We stayed in the cottage for three days whole visiting glasglow. We arrived close to midnight and were welcomed warmly by the property owner, given lots of information im on organised pack and general information about the local area. The cottage is beautiful and well kept, although raining the garden was lovely and would have been lovely to sit in under better conditions. By the end of our holiday we didn't want to come home, the cottage was warm, comfortable and homely. We would definately recommend this property and have spoken about visiting again in the future! The cottage really made our stay amazing and enjoyable!

“Just the job”
Reviewed August 28, 2017 for a stay in August 2017

My husband and I were at the end of our 22 day trip to Scotland and needed a lovely quiet place like this to veg out for a few days but still take in some of Glasgow's sights. The hosts are lovely, very helpful and Annie keeps a stunning garden. The pad is very comfortable & cosy. We soon learned how to work the subway which is just down the road, along with shops, bus interchange and a large Morrison's supermarket.

“Easy To Recommend, We Would Stay Again”
Reviewed August 19, 2017 for a stay in August 2017

We needed a place to stay near Greenock. We waited too long to secure in that location. After, expanding our search we discovered this excellent property on the Westside of Glasgow. Close to Partick Station.

We arrived via train from London to Glasgow Central. Down a level or two and over to Partick Station. A quick walk later and we are at our Glasgow base for the next few days.

The hosts - Annie & Roger, were very helpful & friendly. The accommodations worked well for our family of three. Parents upstairs in the loft bedroom and our teenager on the sofa bed on the main level. The wet bath was easy too use.

Although, we usually ate at a pub while exploring Scotland, this facility has full cooking and eating features.

We would stay here again if we are in the Glasgow area.

“Pleasant stay”
Reviewed August 1, 2017 for a stay in July 2017

This 1 bedroom cottage is ideal for a visit to Glasgow , only a few minutes walk to train station . Alternative you can walk direct to transport museum ,science museum , imax, secc, The hydro . Its also near to west end so great for alternative night life if you want to avoid the main city .We felt that the everything was provided and the owners went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed . It was also very clean and warm .

“An excellent base in Glasgow.”
Reviewed January 12, 2017 for a stay in December 2016

Just a short walk from the SPT subway (Partick) and walking distance to two other stations on the circular SPT (Kelvinhall and Hillhead) the cottage is in an idea location to explore Glasgow's West End, the Botanical Gardens, Kelvingrove Park, the Museum and Art Gallery and much more. It's about 15 minutes to the city centre (again using the excellent SPT). Hosts Roger and Annie Popplewell were very accommodating and did everything they could to make my family's stay comfortable.
The cottage is warm, clean and airy and has all the necessary facilities. I recommend it.
