Stayed here for one night whilst visiting Glasgow. Helpful receptionist, interesting features and artwork along the corridors; quality fittings; free cupcakes, mince pies and mulled wine! Asked for a quiet room, got 609. Amazing views across the railway station glass roof and surrounding houses. The room was quiet although at times you can hear the station announcements. Great self-serve breakfast.
Good location for a weekend stay in Glasgow.

Room Tip: I would imagine rooms at the front looking over Union St would be noisy. The rooms overlooking the s...

Booked into this wee boutique hotel on the 26th October 2013 for one night. The hotel itself is located above the bustling union street and you could miss the exit if you didn't pay attention to the flag signage outside.

On arrival, we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who went out of her way to make sure we were checked in promptly. We checked into a twin room and were not disappointed. The room was very spacious and well equipped with 2 very comfortable beds, flat screen tv etc... The bathroom was also perfect, good size and exactly what we needed, a fabulous power shower. The windows in the room are the old sash style windows, complete with black out blinds . The room boasts very high ceilings and was decorated to a high standard, with a feature wall.

In the morning we ate breakfast in the kitchen/dining room and couldn't fault what was on offer, there was fruit, fruit juice and cereal as well as a cooked option. The furniture was immaculate and very light, a very welcoming room indeed. Hairdryers available from reception on request.

Our only complaint, was the noise from the pubs/clubs spilling out into the wee small hours that didn't cease until well after 4am.

Tunnocks tea cakes were there to help yourself to at any time, very yummy.

Fabulous hotel, fabulous staff and would definitely return.

This is a really nice place with almost everything you could want. The only slight gripe I would have would be that the rooms are a bit small, but everything else really is as good as it could be. If you're doing a lot of shopping or have a lot of luggage the room size might be an nuisance, if you're travelling light there's nothing to worry about.

The location is fantastic, the breakfast excellent and the quality of the rooms is first class (in particular the showers!). Every staff member I spoke to made every effort to be as helpful as possible. I can't actually think of a way to suggest any improvements!

Next time I'm staying in Glasgow I'll definitely keep this place in mind.

Loved this hotel. Clean, welcoming and comfortable. Very convenient for city centre shopping with discount at nearby carpark. Breakfast was excellent. Bed very comfy, nice little touches also with home bakes tea and proper coffee. Excellent shower. Room not large but adequate and nicely decorated. Only minus very little storage for clothes. Even on a short break i like to unpack. I look forward to staying here again

The hotel is on a floor from a building next door to the train station, great fro train travellers.
They have a discount card on the closest parking lot, 2 blocks from the hotel.

There are elevators to the hotel floor, good for people carrying big luggage, however the room mught be small for big luggage as well.
The rooms are suits.

The breakfast was great and they have free cupcakes and cookies on the halls.
