Although the garden plants were closing down for the coming of winter this visit as part of our trip to Glasgow was well worth the effort. Another free attraction and well worth just for the Kibble Palace a magnificent Victorian structure filled with tropical plants from across all continents and then also the display of plants in the complex of greenhouses. This is amust return visit during the flowering season.

I had my wedding pictures taken at Botanic Gardens and Kibble Palace and I couldn't wish for better scenery for my pictures. The staff at Botanics were very helpful and made sure that we could get best shots possible. Needles to say, pictures came out great!

This just the perfect place to come for a wander or to people-watch. I live very nearby and quite often take a walk through on my way to Byres Rd. Lots to see and do right in the heart of the city. The gardens themselves are beautiful, great play-area for kids and the Kibble Palace a feast for the eyes.

To wander through the woods and admire the trees and shrubs pick up a sandwich and a drink and just enjoy peace.

Going to the west end is always a pleasure its clean and well looked after and the Botanic Garden are a lovely escape for a couple of hours, I suggest every one should go there at least once a month, the ice cream and hot dogs are awesome as well even in this weather.
