The botanic gardens are just off one of Glasgows main streets. It is an oasis of calm. The palace is full of history as well as interesting flora and fauna. It is a great way to spend an hour or so.

We had our wedding photos taken here and it is really lovely. It's a very traditional glass house, it isn't very big but it is really nice. The tea rooms in the grounds are also really nice.

Well worth a visit, to both the park and the Kibble Palace - lovely place to spend the day. So near Byres Rd so you could do both on the same day.
