This is our third visit to Hotel Indigo in Glasgow. Our first impressions were excellent and reflected in our first review.

Our second visit was a slight let down - not the same attention to detail.

This weekend's wedding anniversary visit was a total let down. On booking in to a King Bed Deluxe room on Friday evening we were promised an Indigo welcome plate each evening - this consisted of a selection of cheeses including some melted brie plus about 12 small oatcakes on Friday evening; a slice of pate and two small oatcakes on Saturday evening; and absolutely nothing on Sunday evening!
The range of films available was less than appealing.
We returned to our room at four p.m. each afternoon to find the room had not been serviced - on both occasions we were due to have pre theatre evening meals at five thirty and required to use shower etc prior to leaving for our dates. On both days we had to sit in the foyer waiting for the staff to prepare the room.
Breakfasts were always a bit iffy at the Hotel Indigo and the don't really improve despite this being the main gripe that appears on lots of Tripadvisor crits. This weekend was no better that we had previously experienced just there was even less of it than before - scrambled egg and black pudding on Sunday morning produced one round of black pudding and less scrambled egg than would have fitted on a half slice of toast! The Lorne sausage was totally tasteless and the fried eggs actually went from overdone on Saturday through to barely cooked on Monday!
The hotel boasts that it has a great reputation but this is not reflected on this occasion.
I feel that this may have been our final visit to Hotel Indigo as the price paid for our weekend at over £550 was not reflected in what we were provided with.

Stayed in indigo hotel for a night on a DBB deal , could not fault anything about this hotel . Staff were very friendly and attentive , nothing was too much trouble . Rooms are off a high standard and finish . Food was of a high quality too . Easy to find hotel as we'll just a few minutes walk from central station , would definitely recommend this hotel and will be back to stay in the near future .

Just spent 3 nights at Hotel Indigo. As soon as we arrived we were made to feel welcome. The room was stunning . I loved the toiletries in the bathroom too - The White Company products. Definitely recommend this hotel. It's not too far from the train station and the shops. Also lots of fabulous restaurants in walking distance too

First time in Glasgow and only using recommendations via TripAdvisor we chose to stay here, and glad we did. The staff were so very helpful and welcoming. The rooms looked amazing with a real trendy flare of interior design. In fact the style of the entire hotel had a real classic movie star style about it. The breakfast down stairs was amazing. The location is great, not to close to the CBD but well with in walking distance. Really enjoyed staying here and would do it again.

Our stay at the Hotel Indigo got off to a slightly shaky start as when I handed over my BA hotel booking voucher the receptionist could find no record of us on their reservations system! Several hasty calls and some frantic conversations between reception staff and the duty manager resulted in us getting into our room a little later than planned. The hotel (and most others in Glasgow) was full that night as Celtic were hosting Barcelona in the Champions League, the hotel admitted it was a mistake on their part and we got in to our room, fortunately for them they had a late no-show so no one had to sleep rough.
Very impressive decor throughout the whole hotel, a spacious and comfortable room with complimentary snacks and soft drinks in the mini bar. Excellent breakfast (traditional full Scottish or continental) freshly cooked to order and served by very friendly staff.
The hotel is very close to the heart of the city, a couple of blocks away from the main railway station and a short walk to most other places. Despite this very central location on a main road it was very quiet and peaceful inside the hotel. Did not get the chance to try the restaurant for dinner as we had pre-booked elsewhere but will definitely return to the hotel and try it out next time.
