“What a fortunate find!”
Reviewed October 16, 2012

I found this hotel through Trip Advisor. We had just flown in from Italy and it was like an oasis. We arrived very late - near midnight but the welcome was warm and the rooms were a delight - extremely clean, excellent facilities, beautifully decorated, away from the bustle. Room service was fast, cheerful and delicious and plentiful. Breakfast the next morning included the best poached eggs I have ever tasted presented by a delightful waiter. Well done Hotel Indigo - your staff and hotel is the reason we came back to Glasgow a week later and stayed at your hotel again. It's a great location near the tourist bus and Central Station - handy for secure carparking too.

Room Tip: Corner room was bright and airy but good quality window furnishings ensured a good nights sleep. Boo...

Stayed for one night with my wife as we were going to a show in Glasgow, and arrived early (way before check in time) at about 1pm and asked to drop our bags off, but the reception checked to see if our room was ready, it wasn't but he gave us a free upgrade to a room that was ready! Top customer service!!

The hotel is immaculate with each floor having a different theme of Glasgow our room was lovely nice big walk in shower complimentary toileteries Bath robes slippers ect. A nice big lcd tv with freeview HD. I Pod docking station and a free mini bar, which had a small bottle of wine some beers soft drinks crisps and biscuits, it really is small touches like this that make all the difference.

We never ate in the hotel so can't comment on the food, but we had breakfast which was lovely.

Book 21 days in advance and you geta good rate we were 80 pounds b+b which is good value for a hotel which is 100meters from central station. There is also a carpark directly opposite the hotel which you get 50% off with a voucher from the hotel.

Will definetly return and would recomend without hesitation.

Had a one night stay in the "standard" room - wow - what a bed... so comfortable and everything in the room you could ask for - fantastic decor, lovely shower, iron/ironing board mini bar tea/coffee making wifi access is used via a code that is left in the room for you - this looks like a till receipt- something we were too slow to notice and thus couldn't make use of but no major issue. Breakfast is a little disappointing in comparison to the rest of the hotel experience - we had the cooked breakfast which consisted of square sausage a rasher of bacon black pudding potato scone a little spoonful of beans which were slightly dried out and an egg of your choice - we had poached which was a little rubbery. We were offered toast but this sadly never appeared again not a major issue but I think if there is room for improvement of the breakfast. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the hotel is a true gem with such beautiful modern decor.
We will be back!!

Great hotel very central with cheap parking close by. Gorgeous rooms and very friendly staff. Bar was a little on the expensive side!!! We had lunch which was very tasty and our waitress was lovely and chatty.

Lovely hotel in a central position, literally yards from the side entrance of Central Station. Our room was just fantastic and I also loved the idea of the light under the wash hand basin to help you find your way to the toilet in the night! The meal was excellent as well as was breakfast. A really good experience. There is a multi storey car park on the opposite corner for which the hotel gives you a discount voucher. We stayed there on a Saturday night in a room facing onto the road and weren't disturbed by any noise during the night, which we were afraid of. Check in was the quickest ever.

We stayed four nights here, a party of four in two rooms, one trim and one executive .
Positives - fabulous decor, a sense of luxury in the fittings and provisions, good big bed and all the amenities you would expect from a good hotel oriented to a business clientele. The restaurant (Limelights) was very good too, providing excellent breakfasts and dinners. Walking distance to all the things we wanted to see/do, which was a positive too.

Less-positive: the Internet didn't work in our room or in the dining room, so we had to sit in the lobby to check email etcetera. The lobby is very nicely appointed, so this wasn't much if a hardship for our purposes, but it might be annoying for said business persons. One very annoying thing was the lack of luggage racks in the room, and precious little floor space either.

We had a good stay here, and would go back.
