We booked a night for my husbands birhday and intended spening a couple days in Glasgow at Science centre and Iron Bru carnival. Unfortunately we were put in a room adjoined to a party of youngsters who kept us awake between midnight and 4.30am. Due to us being in an adjoining room we could hear every word!! We did eventually call the porter who spoke to them re the noise and we got to selep at 5am, only to have our door knocked at 8.15am to see if we wanted our room tidied. When we mentioned to the receptionist in the morning she said there had been quite a few complaints and she could only apologise.Sadly we went to the I Max and watched a short film before all heading home exhausted and disappointed for a sleep.
Since then we were offered 3000 points on Hotel Indigo's loyalty scheme, when we checked out what this would reward us we dicovered we would need around 25000 to qualify for anything. Thanks but we will be taking our custom elsewhere..

Room Tip: Ensure you know who's in the adjoining room before you agree to it...

I stayed here 4 nights on business. The location, decor and rooms - including bed and bathroom - are excellent. The fixed price menu is also excellent. Only minor quibbles are the breakfast (OK) and service - I needed a razor as mine had snapped and they couldn't locate one.

We visited the Hotel Indigo at Christmas time - it was wonderful!

We had an afternoon tea - all presented on a lovely stand, with a good selection of sandwiches, cakes and scones with cream and jam

The decor in the Limelight bar was excellent - we had a booth for my husband and I and our 3 daughters and a friend - the staff very attentive, friendly and helpful

The toilets clean and the towels and handcrean really nice

It was a great experience and we would highly recommend this Hotel for any occasion

Excellent value and a great location in Glasgow

Having stayed several times before with my sisters and raved about how good the Indigo Hotel was, I booked for a one night "Infusion" package with my husband. Our room was beautiful, the staff -without exception- were excellent but, although my dinner was terrific (mushroom and goat's cheese tian followed by rump of lamb) my husband's medium rib eye steak was so tough and overdone, he struggled to cut into it. The head waiter agreed that it was overdone and offered to get another, but by this time my husband was fed up and just had biscuits and cheese with coffee for his meal. Unfortunately, the bill when we checked out on Sunday, was not reduced accordingly, so it was an expensive plate of biscuits and cheese!
Otherwise, it is a really good hotel.
