As a frequent lunch diner in Glasgow I'm always on the lookout for a change. Found this one on TA. It's a wee bit beyond the usual restaurant area for me, in the gallery area of Glasgow city centre. But we'll worth the visit. Food was imaginative, fresh, hot, tasty and relatively inexpensive. A relaxed atmosphere. Mix of clientele on Saturday lunch including kids. Staff were great. Will definitely be back. A walk through some of the gallery shops was a treat too.

Booked a table through 5pm.com on a Friday night for the pre-theatre offer. Fantastic value for money, 15 pounds per person for a 3 course meal AND a glass of wine. The food was great quality and big portion sizes, I had Isle of Skye smoked salmon on toasted brioche, local haggis and beef burger with salad, and a totally indulgent sticky toffee pudding with cream. I'll be back for sure.

Choose the restaurant based on other reviews. A bit difficult to find in the dark as it is not obvious where it is. Booked but don't think I needed to on a Wednesday night. All staff very helpful. Only 'complaint' was lack of decent lighting so that I could read (was on my own) but quality of the food is excellent.

The quality of the food is great. The friendliness and service of the staff is first class. The low ceilings add an ambience to the restaurant too. My friends and I absolutely love it. We have recommended it to so many people that we are now struggling to get it booked when we want. Please have entertainment on other Friday nights too. We love the Big Band but we would love soul nights, folk nights, rock nights..... we would come to them all and enjoy all the other elements that make Cafe Source so special.

Found the source more by change as we wanted a more local menu and our 1st 3 choices from the reviews were all fully booked and how pleased we were that they were.It is a bit awkward to find as its in the former church's crypt. Wonderful atmosphere and really buzzing as you walk in. The service was very god , girls spending the time to explain the extra choices on the chalk boards , would appear that just about everything is locally sourced. We both chose the same, started with the fish chowder and then on to the trio of pork. Both choices were excellent as was the wine.Great atmosphere and would recommend highly , lovely restaurant with great staff and a very good kitchen.
