I stayed in Room 16 on the 3rd of May, at the reasonable rate of £50.00.

A little further from Glasgow University than i had hoped for, but this is a super little hotel.
It is walking distance from Great Western Road, which is full of all kinds of shops, pubs and restaurants.

Try 'Coopers' bar if you are in town - i think it used to be a bank, as the inside is amazing!
It has a great selection of beers and really friendly punters.

This has been my second visit to Glasgow and once again the 'Glaswedgians' (i think that's what they're called) have not let me down; everyone i met at the Hotel and walking around was very friendly!

I stayed here for two nights with my partner and would definitely recommend the Albion for tourists visiting Glasgow. The hotel is in an excellent location and walking distance to the underground which will take you to the city centre in a few minutes. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the full, scottish breakfast was delicious - a perfect way to start a hard day's sight seeing. The staff were friendly and helpful, and were more than happy to give us directions and recommend local restaurants, bars etc. If you're coming to Glasgow and need somewhere to stay you could do a lot worse than than the Albion.

I stayed here with my partner to celebrate our anniversary. We stayed in room 8 which had a great view over the river. I would definately recommend this as a good quality B & B although no room service or evening meal is available. Restraunts are close by though.

Had a great night at Albion. They stored our bike-boxes for 3 weeks so we could re-use them for the flight back.. thanks!

We stayed here for 2 nights whilst exploring Glasgow. For this the location is great, being within a couple of minutes walk from a tube station that took you to the heart of the city. The road side parking is free but it is a busy spot and it might be somewhat easier to find a space in the evening than in the day. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and our double, ensuite roon was clean and pleasantly decorated but small and with limited space for luggage. This was a bit of a disadvantage as we were just starting a few weeks touring so we were tending to fall over things! Breakfast was average. For exploring Glasgow we used the red City Sightseeing buses and this was great value at £10 for 2 days (£8 concessions). It enabled you to do the full tour and find out where everything was and then hop on-hop off to visit the attractions. Overall a good stay and we would use Albion again.

We can't say enough about this wonderful little hotel. The location was PERFECT. It's on very quiet little street, but yet right in the heart of the West End. The rooms were immaculate, too. We are neat freaks...and this room was CLEAN!

The staff was so friendly and accomodating! When my wife's hair iron wouldn't work...the receptionist gave up her own for my wife to use!!! Now THAT is going above and beyond!

You can't go wrong with the Albion Hotel. Best of all, it's a really great value.
