“Excellent Hotel with great Central Station location.”

I Couldn't fault this hotel or its staff. The initial checkin is fast and good information is provided on the hotels services. The rooms are clean, well lit, well kept and well heated. The beds are comfortable, as are the pillows.
The 1st floor Bar & Restaurant has a small but good range of beers, wines and spirits. The food menu range is also quite small, but the food on offer is well prepared and the portions are adequete.
The Hotel is located across the street from the Central Station in Glasgow City Centre, making it a great base for those who might need to catch an early train, or those arriving to the City at night.
The area is well served with Bars, Restaurants, Shops, Taxis & Music venues, but is still much quieter than Sauchiehall Street (A Short distance away), which is the main area of Glasgow for Shopping/Pubs/Music Venues/Restaurants/Entertainment.
No car parking available at the hotel, but there is a multi story parking lot one street away, where a discount is provided for hotel guests.
This hotel is pretty good value for money. If you book well in advance, some rooms can be yours for £29. Deals are also available on promotional rooms for £19 at times, but the average price for a room is usually around £50 when booked at short notice online. Pricing at the Bar/Restaurant is in line (average) with most hotels in the UK, but there are cheaper places to eat and drink nearby (right across the road from the hotel actually) for those on a budget.

I've stayed in other Premier Inns and they remain my first choice of budget hotel. We picked this one because it was the nearest to the SECC, where we were heading for a concert. In fact it's only a 20 minute walk so perfect in that regard. Not as nice as some of the newer Premier Inns but the room was clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and professional. The only note of caution I would add is that the lift was prety noisy so not the best if you're a light sleeper. I think we'll be trying the new Premier Inn next to the Buchanan Galleries next time we're in Glasgow.

My husband and son visited recently, the room was spacious and clean, staff were really helpful and the breakfast was delicious, what more can you ask for ?

Even though this hotel is in the city centre the room was very quiet

Room Tip: Handy for train station

I'd stayed here before it was a Premier Inn and from what I remember it's now better than it used to be. As with all Premier Inns, if they're good then there's not much to say. They're clean, comfortable and have good facilites.

This one is perfectly located, right next to Central Station with a secure car park 2 blocks away.

I chose this hotel because it was centrally located and only 5 mins walk from Glasgow Central station.

I like the new build Premier Inn's because they offer a simple, clean: "does what it says on the box" concept. This isn't a new build but a refurbishment, so the layout has to be configured to the building constraints.

The large bed made the room cramped, the a/c unit was noisy and very difficult to control, bathroom was cramped even with the 3/4 size bath, low water pressure resulted in a too hot or too cold shower and a trickle from the tap.

Breakfast was just ok.

I won't return.

Stayed here midway through October with a group of mates. Check in staff were friendly throughout. Rooms were of the standard Premier Inn size and had everything that you would expect to find.

Bed was fairly comfortable and had a decent nights sleep. there was some noise from the streets even though we were six floors up, so I can imagine if you were on a lower level that might grow tiresome.

We were up in decent time for the breakfast, which was actually very nice and exactly what we needed.

Overall its a solid hotel, doesnt exceed expectations but completely fulfills what you would hope to find staying in a Premier Inn. I wouldnt go out of my way to stay here, but if I was ever in the area I would have no problem with spending a night there again.

Room Tip: Would suggest staying on a higher level to lessen the unavoidable city centre noise coming from belo...
