So not the worst hotel by any means and if you are looking for a city hotel in Glasgow it is fine. The night we stayed their was a huge party and although I do like a drink and dance! These guys did not shut up! By 3am I had lost the will to live and called reception who where totally unhelpful! But I am sure this is not a regular occurrence and other than that it was fine and we'll located.

The reception, bar and restaurant areas are very nice and the service is efficient and friendly. The room was good with comfortable beds but for some reason not much toilet paper - probably an oversight by cleaning staff. Just a short walk to the city centre and very close to the airport. Breakfast okay but don't ask for a well-done egg as it confuses. All in all, a nice stay.

Had an overnight stay as i was attending an award ceremony in the hotel.
First impresssions were very good on arrival, however the room with its very dark furniture, seemed a little staid.
The event itself, apart from a surly drinks waiter, who i caught making faces, if people took to long on choosing drinks, and my starter being missed, and not offered until everyone else had finished theirs, was pretty good.
Next morning, had an excellent breakfast, albeit in a cafe style surrounding.

Chose this hotel for its convenience to the SECC. And it certainly is convenient - a pleasant 15 minute walk by the riverside (easy walk in other direction to main shopping area with bus stop for city sight-seeing tour opposite hotel). While the hotel lobby is impressive enough and the staff are very pleasant, once you step out of the lift into the bedroom corridors, you would think that you've entered a totally different hotel that is in no way four star standard. We were on the third floor - stained carpets and dismal mustard-coloured walls with no attempt to lift the awfulness with a picture or two. The room had heavy mahogany furniture. Instead of using this as a feature and going for a periodic feel, what updating has been done clashes with the furniture to produce a mishmash that doesn't work and doesn't create a feel that you'd like to spend time in the room - though there is a generous check-out time of 12pm and bed comfortable enough. Given room, hotel is way over-priced. Didn't opt for breakfast as it was dear at £15 but, as hotel is in the financial district, there's not a lot of close-by cafes (but quite handy Tesco). Plenty of alternative hotels in area - try somewhere else.

Just stayed the one night whilst on a business trip. Clean, tidy and value for money. Comfortable bed and tidy room.
Staff friendly and helpful.
Good breakfast, nice gym. Also a spa and a well stocked bar.
Bit of a walk to the town centre so might want to take a taxi if going out for the night.
Apart from that, nice hotel which I would return to.
