My colleagues and I stayed here for one night on a recent business trip. We chose the Mercure as the next best option to the Hilton(s) which all seemed to be full.
Arriving mid evening we dined in the small dining area which is joined to the bar, and also the reception area shown in the pictures. Whilst the dining area was small, enough for a dozen tables it provided good food and prompt service.
My room on the 6th floor was quite small and behind the lift so if it wasn'f for the fact I'm a heavy sleeper I would have been awake all night. Avoid rooms near the lift, the lift seems old and noisey.
Reception, and bar was well serviced and the breakfast in the morning plentiful; although not hugely varied.
Overall, a good and central place to stay for a few nights.More
