Booked this hotel as we were going to a wedding at Cottiers - a 12 minute walk away. ( It took a bit longer way back on high heels after a night dancing!! ). Very warm welcome. The man who checked us in seemed to genuinely care that we had an enjoyable stay. Strangely no tea/coffee making facilities in room but you can buy either from bar. Personally I'd rather have have it in room. Comfy bed and good breakfast. Limited free parking at front. All staff very helpful.

As the title says this is a little gem of a hotel in the West End of Glasgow. We were met by friendly staff who could not be more helpful. The young manager, Bal, never stops and nothing is too much trouble for him. We were given the keys to our room an hour earlier than the normal check in. This was greatly appreciated. When I say room it was actually more like a suite with two double beds and a seating area with a table and chairs. The room and equally large bathroom were spotlessly clean and the decor beautiful. Our breakfast was freshly cooked with top quality products being used. Thanks again to Bal and his staff. We will certainly be back.

Room Tip: We could not fault room number 19

Myself and my husband spend a relaxing night at this wonderful hotel. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. My husband booked the romantic package which made the room extra special and worth the extra money, we will be returning soon.

The hotel is within easy walking distance of the heart of the West End of Glasgow and links to the city centre. The room was clean and comfortable and, as we were on the top floor and at the back of the hotel, very quiet. The only downside was that the room had clearly undergone a very recent renovation and the smell of paint was still in the air. Also there was no mirror in the room - something that's really essential. Those are the gripes but the staff were very courteous and helpful and the breakfast was really good.

I was surprised with a weekend stay in the Belhaven Hotel and what a fantastic surprise it was!
To begin the hotel is in the perfect location as it is located in the beautiful Westend of Glasgow, close to the famous Byres Road and Ashton lane, in addition to both walking distance to the underground subway and only a cheap taxi fare into the city centre.
The hotel has a beautiful Victorian charm with a beautiful lilac colour scheme on entrance that captured my eye straight away. Room was lovely and clean, correct temperature and a fantastic shower that I'm still talking about. Staff very friendly and and welcoming on arrival and throughout my stay. Lastly the hotel had a great breakfast menu, suitable to everyone's taste.

I would have no hesitation in recommending the Belhaven Hotel to those new to Glasgow or those seeking a wee break away in a beautiful hotel :)
