Excellent service from the staff, who made the experience pretty special by being courteous, friendly and informative. The Market Menu was superb and beautifully presented with interesting flavours and textures. The Loch Duart Salmon Starter was delicious as were the ox cheeks and Scrabster Hake. Love that Scottish produce is used. Compliments to the chef for this fabulous food, beautifully presented.
Very tasty fresh homemade breads and we certainly plan to return soon....recommend booking

On a two or three course meal the Amuse Bouche , presented without choice, was one of the courses. Good as this was,it is normal for this to be complementary from the chef. Otherwise the food was good, nice local touches, well presented and very generous. Not quite fine dining but a good evening .The service was excellent and the food explained by the waiter when I asked.

Had a lovely time recently with a taster menu and matching wines. The ambiance and services was friendly and professional and the dishes were delicious. Wines chosen carefully and to a very high standard. Excellent all round and we'll be back.

We had a truly excellent meal at this restaurant. The food from the five course taster menu was beautifully presented and was delicious. The wines which accompanied each course had been expertly chosen and complemented the food perfectly. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and we will definitely be back in the near future.

We went for the tasting menu, and what an extraordinary journey, the dishes were very well presented, cooked perfectly, with ideas new to both of us. Some may not have been selected from the normal menu, had we not opted for the surprise. Staff were very good, taking interest and pride in what they did. The Sommelier chose excellent wines to accompany each course and like all the staff cared about his craft, introducing each selection with passion, and genuinely interested in our opinions. Definitely worth a visit, then I think you'll return.
