I little off the beaten track of Finnieston, the Pelican is an amazing find.

I was instantly hit by the warmth of the atmosphere in the place and the lively open kitchen pass.

If you like a variety of exceptional quality wines at very reasonable prices - you'll love Pelican.

The wine list is only half the story. The food being produced is out of this world. Superb quality and selaction of fish and utterly perfectly cooked meats on offer.

I've already recommended The Pelican to many of my friends and famliy and they have all loved it.
If you are a foodie, its a must on your radar.

Went there with my husband using a voucher we received as a gift. I had the oysters (a first for me) and the roast beef which was gorgeous. We were sneaking a look at the other diners food and everything looked lovely, especially the fish and chips and the burger. The staff were very nice and welcoming and the place was immaculately clean. The prices were very reasonable and it was very relaxing, we would have stayed for hours. My hubby had the chocolate orange tart which was lovely xx a very nice way to spend a few hours

Had a lovely meal here last weekend, I started with the smoked salmon which had been marinated in ginger and soy sauce, it was delicious. Followed this with their award winning lasagne which it definitely was, really scrummy.
Nice relaxed atmosphere and it is dog friendly which was a bonus for me.

a comprehensive menu from burgers to steaks with mac and cheese in between. Quite small but warm friendly place ideal for a casual supper or an informal dinner. Excellent value with tasty well cooked food with a few individual twists. Will definitely return

Been here a number of times and was lucky enough to be on their mailing list when a new menu promo was announced. I ordered the posh fish & chips, which was simply amazing. Seabass, coli & king prawn with mushy peas & massive hand cut chips cooked in duck fat. The wife ordered the pulled pork with crackling in fresh ribbon pasta. Anything I've tried in here has been first class. Sure you can order burger and fries but don't let the staple items on their menu fool you, this is fine dining at a great price.

It was fairly quiet for a Friday night though, which is a real mystery considering the quality on offer.
