“Evening meal on Saturday evening”

Lovely meal, good quick service even although they were very busy. Handy going here with Cineworld being across the road.

“Shocking”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 20, 2013

We have been to ask Italian once before and decided to come back and give it another chance. The service was unbelievably shocking. After our mains we were not offered any dessert and no more drinks were offered even when our glasses were empty. We sat for 20 minutes then decided to ask for our bill. No communication was made to ask if we enjoyed our evening at all. When we received the bill the waiter even removed our candle from the table which was very rude. We will definitely not be returning and hope no one else decides to even give the restaurant a chance after this review.

“good for a chain but lacking something”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 13, 2013

food was a bit hit and miss some dishes lovely others bland .
service ok but nothing more.
definately lacked atmosphere on my visits.
the one consolation would be value when using Tesco vouchers which makes it good value however in this case I would recommend Bella Italia instead as it is better in every aspect than ASK.

“Good food good atmosphere”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 31, 2012 via mobile

We visited this restaurant after a film at the cinema it was pretty quiet though it was evident that they had been busy as there were quite a few untidied tables. we were seated quickly in a nice booth the waiter and waitress were friendly and attentive. Food was reasonably price especially as used a voucher for further money off. The bill for 2 adults and 2 kids came to £33. Restaurant was not busy yet not really quiet food was served promptly. I would go again even if this restaurant is a plane journey away from my home city.

“Embarrassingly poor”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 4, 2012

The food in here is bland, small in portion and a disgrace to Italy. First, the drink glass had lipstick on it. Second, my main meal a seafood linguine without the seafood. Tasteless crap which I returned. Third, we ordered chips and they never appeared. This all happened within the space of five minutes. We left without paying for any of it obviously. Please don't waste your time and money going here. DI Maggios is across the road, go there. Only plus was the manager. She was understanding and handled our complaint professionally. The only credit to be fair.
