Good for everybody, Beautiful gardens, with something to look at all year round. great walks in woodland and by the river. The Burrell collection of interesting antiquities and Pollock House now run by the National Trust both worth a visit and located within the grounds

A gem of a park within Glasgow City with a good selection of walks (watch out for the highland cows. A visit here can be combined with Pollok House and the Burrell Gallery, both well worth a look.

I just love Pollok Park. I am lucky enough to live within walking distance of the park and have seen it in all seasons it is a truly beautiful park in the middle of the city. If you enter from Pollokshaws Road entrance you are transported from city to countryside as soon as you pass under the old stone railway bridge. The grounds and gardens are kept in excellent condition by the army of park rangers so a big well done to them all who are out in all weathers.

A great park surrounding Pollock House which is looked after by the national trust. There are award winning highland cows, the burrell collection of artifacts from around the world, lovely walks, geocaches galore, kids play areas and playing fields.
If you like the outdoors this is definitely worth a visit.
