Over the years, I have visited this attraction many times and I never tire of it. The building itself is a work of art and it's like stepping back to a bygone age. The works of art are both modern and classical to suit all tastes. The museum takes us from the dinosaur age, through the centuries to fairly modern times, telling the story of our existence on Earth.
It's spacious, highly educational and you could certainly spend many interesting hours there. It has something to interest all ages.
I would certainly recommend this attraction to any resident or visitor to Glasgow. Well worth a look!

like all good art galleries I went to my favourite painting first, then found lots more, that I'll definitely go to see again. Salvador Dali's, Christ of Saint John of the Cross is a must, but my favourite is John Lavery' Anna Pavlova. There was an organ recital on at 3pm (think this happens most days, if that's your cup of tea. It's a lovely, relaxing place to go to - and it's Free.

This has had a revamp. Some parts are better than others. A few of the prehistory areas are thin on artifacts but big on large photos. The organ recital at one was a great bonus. Most areas are easy to understand and have lots of interest. I just wish they had left one gallery as it was in the early nineteenth century so we could see the difference in the museum. Really worth a visit especially if it is raining. Walk back to Glasgow through the park to get a real feel for the city. It is free and lots for all ages
