I really enjoyed my visit here. It is not so big that you get tired walking around or don't have time to see everything. Some of it is really inteesting and the layout is great. The cafe on site is excellent too.

“Brief visit”
Reviewed October 28, 2012

Exhibits are pretty sparse - is the museum short of cash or something. However, what we did see was excellent, and it's fere of course. Why can't the cafe do more than slosh water over a teabag and then charge a fortune for it???

“Wonderful building, very accessible exhibitions”
Reviewed October 28, 2012

Although I have an extensive knowledge of art, I appreciated the way all the art exhibits were captioned to enable all visitors including young people to get the most of of the experience. I love the work of the Glasgow Boys and the Scottish colourists and felt this was their real home. Food and service in the cafe were both very pleasing.

“Great Free day out with the kids”
Reviewed October 28, 2012

Loads to see and do. Loads of interactive areas only downside is finding a carpark space and the burger van outside. Spent an entire day going round all the exhibits and still never seen them all
