House for an Art Lover always proves good for lunch in beautiful surroundings. Food Great. The starter and main - chicken with a whisky sauce very tasty indeed. Good cheese board too.

“Beautiful and fascinating”
Reviewed September 20, 2012

A house designed by Charles Rennie Macintosh but never built in his lifetime, this is a stunning building, with many of the characteristic features of Macintosh's designs very much to the fore. Beautifully constructed and decorated - an absolute must for Macintosh enthusiasts.
Nice gift shop and cafe / restaurant - these are a bit procey.

Interesting displays and very informative custodian, maybe a little pricey for what you actually get to see.
