“Admirable modern concert hall, good acoustics and comfortable seating”
Reviewed October 28, 2012

I enjoyed a concert by the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, and appreciated my seat choice of front row of the side balcony where I could see almost every instrumentalist as well as the conductor and soloist.
I dined at the Green Room within the Concert Hall, which I have reviewed separately, and which is perhaps only just viable as a restaurant relying on concert custom only. It is unfortunate that the Hall is situated right in a popular shopping area where the eating outlets are not the kind one would go for a quality evening meal.

“Wonderful building.”

Very comfortable seats. Wide aisles but steep access to upper circle. Perfect view of stage and brilliant accoustics.

“Nice venue”
Reviewed October 26, 2012

Nice venue for concerts. My only complaint would be trying to get near the bar in the interval - if you haven't pre-booked - forget it!

An auditorium that works! Everybody can see the stage and hear the band. Good location if your coming by train or bus.
