The building, the design and the features were every bit as wonderful as pictures and brochures promised them to be. It was wonderful to see the building in full and vibrant use and full of features and jewels of Mackintosh's design.
Craig our guide was informative and obviously loved the School of Art. His comments were insightful and informative. A really wonderful tour.
Can a building be like chocolate?

There is nothing like this building and this tour. The structure is a wonder of imagination, beauty, and design - - Fantasyland for adults. Not only that, but I have taken many a tour, and the deftness, insights and sensibilities of Tara the tour guide were in another league entirely - - it was art itself.

The only sad thing is that taking pictures isn't allowed inside. Though on the other hand, if it were, the tour would last 5 hours instead of 1.

A striking example of Charles Rennie Mackintosh's architectural design. It's a beautiful building and easily accessed from Sauchiehall Street.
