“nice park what happened to the rollerskaters?”
Reviewed June 27, 2013

this park has a very nice ambiance. it has a magical feel about it.
perhaps i am biased because i used to live near the park in the 60s when they had a roller rink with music so you could ask girls to skate round with you.sadly the rink has gone
lots of nice cafes and restaurants nearbye and the great museum which is free.
enjoy a great park

“Very nice park”
Reviewed June 27, 2013

I visit Kelvingrove Park often for a nice walk and relax. Also a great place to go when events are on like the West End Festival.

“A quiet park lacking amenities”
Reviewed June 25, 2013

This park has deteriorated over the years. The flower beds are poor and the duck pond has few ducks and too much vegetation. It's a pleasant place for a stroll, with fine views of the university area.

“Lovely walk”
Reviewed June 25, 2013

The park is large enough for a super walk. There is a little hill to climb which will take you all the way round. Swing park for the kids / cafe where you can sit outside at the swing park. Lots of benches for sitting and the fountain is beautiful and resently renovated. There is a popular skatepark next to a smaller swing park. Large pond with various animals.
