As we walked back to our guest house from the Art Galleries we encountered some one training three collies complete with 'come bys' etc. A lovely park that should be protected from any encroachment and so called development at all costs.

This really is worth a visit, for the building alone if not for all the very interesting exhibits. We were lucky to be there around lunch time and were treated to a fantastic organ recital in the main hall and all for free!

Great park in the west end of Glasgow flanked on one side by Glasgow University and on the other by Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.

Nice and busy in good weather and a good place to wander around and find such delights as the fountain, the bandstand and other memorials.

A real haven counter balancing the bustle and activity of the rest of the West End.

Can be a great few hours visit with the kids if the weather is nice, take a walk along the river, and find the sunlight house, a peek into the bandstand, and hope it gets restored to its glory, a nice wee playpark for the kids or if they have scooters etc a shot in the skate park.

If the weather turns for the worse (as per glasgow summer time....4 seasons 1 day), take a walk across to the art gallerie

I love this park, especially then the weather is nice and sunny. Perfect place to chill out, do some barbecue or just relax with a book in hands. Waiting for a nice weather again!
