Great design, the bedrooms are just right, contemporary, stylish but not too radical. Food quality excellent as was the service. The only criticism is that food and drink prices are a bit high. Overall a great stay.

We stayed in One Devonshire the night after our wedding before flying away on honeymoon. The rooms were lovely, food excellent and service of a very high standard. This is a lovely place to stay, a real treat! Only downside was that we didn't book for the restaurant and when we arrived it was fully booked, so remember to call ahead.
Stayed for one night in Oct for our 1st wedding anniversary. We dont live far from Glasgow but due to it being our anniversary & as we were also seeing Billy Connolly that night we thought we'd stay somewhere a bit special instead of just going home afterwards... The staff were so nice, not in any way pretentious like I imagined - unfortunately it was some of the other guests who let the place down in that respect. The room was lovely & so comfortable. We ordered room service which was great & breakfast was very tasty. Just the little bit of luxury that we were looking for! Would definately stay again.
Stayed here as was attending a friends wedding. The hotel was just gorgous. It oozes class and refinement. But feels very comfortable and relaxed. I have stayed in other Hotel Du Vins - inc Henley and the Glasgow one by far is so much better. The rooms are very traditional with modern look - beautiful arran toiletries which allowed to take away and a pillow menu! Loved the mini bar and really could have stayed in my room all evening it was such a shame to leave for the wedding. I missed breakfast though brunch was good, and I have been back for Dinner a few times and its good.
I especially liked the Turkish Delight Martini's the bar man served. mmmmmmm
This is a truly beautiful hotel, but the service just isn't up to the prices they charge.
We had a perfectly pleasant stay but there were small problems all over the place - out booking had been mistakenly made for two nights instead of one, the TV didn't work, the plug in the luxurious bath leaked water out the tub, staff seemed a bit glacit and screwed up a couple of food orders and lost some of our party's coats at the end of the evening.
Better service in similar surroundings are available for less money.
Love this hotel - it's so cosy and welcoming with friendly staff. This was my second stay and the second time I wasn't disappointed (only gripe was the shower cubicle leaked). I like staying outside the city centre in Glasgow sometimes, it's a different experience wandering around the West End as opposed to being right beside the main shopping areas etc. A lovely experience, will definitely stay again.
