Stayed here with my wife for a wee cheeky night! Stayed in the Pommery room and whilst this was nice think the Wolf Blass room is probably better (stayed in that room previously). The staff at check-in were delightful and could not be more helpful. The meal was nice but even after 3 courses I was still pretty hungry as the portions are small. No doubt I will be back again but not sure when!

I stayed on business for one night. I had a room in with an incredibly comfortable four poster bed which was very nice and very opulent. The deep bath was very welcome as I am tall and tend to stick out at either end in normal hotel baths. The only complaint about the room was it was a little cluttered with stuff, menu's bottles of wine, leaflets etc covered pretty much every surface. The breakfast was superb, a good selection with things I don't see very often on hotel breakfasts.

The only complaint I have is the speed of service, the staff we incredibly helpful but when asking for anything e.g. a drink or snacks etc we had to wait a really long time and in one case had to chase several times. This isn't what I expect from a ***** hotel and not one that prides it's self on service. Hence only a 4 dot review.

Despite the service, the uniqueness of the hotel, it's excellent situation and beautiful environment leads me to recommend this hotel.

We just spent a fantastic night, in my view at one of the most fantastic hotels in Scotland. The management were both responsive and switched on, and the rest of the staff were friendly and informative. The room was superb and very clean.
We also ate here and could not fault the meal in the slightest; really good beef and a wine list that covered all wallet sizes.
Will come here again when we need to visit Glasgow again.
Totally recommend; if the Mal. chain want to know how to run a hotel well, then I'd suggest they should use this one as their flagship.

Room Tip: There are both traditional and modern rooms,we went for traditional and was rewarded with a lovely c...

Stayed here for 4 days and the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was perfect, everything was clean and well taken care of and so beautiful! The details were wonderful, this is probably the best hotel so far that my husband and i have stayed at. We will definitely stay there again!

I have stayed here several times and cannot praise it enough. The rooms/suites are themed and each one is unique. The food is excellent and Amanda their wine expert knows her stuff! Though expensive it is worth the money for that special and not so special event.

Stayed at One Devonshire for two nights before moving into a flat nearby. It was a lovely place to retreat to during a hectic time. The room was beautiful as was the bathroom which had a fantastic shower. We ate In the bistro and both service and food were first class.
The only drawback was the incredibly hard bed, perhaps we were just unlucky!

Was taken for a treat afternoon tea by my friends. Location was great, central but managed to park easily enough on a Saturday afternoon, staff were welcoming and friendly. For such a high end hotel, the atmosphere was also welcoming and warm. Afternoon tea was reasonable and delicious. I will be back
