My wife and I spent a night here in a huge and fantastic room with every facility one could ever seek . The four-poster bed was mammoth ( almost needed an intercom to speak to my wife ! ) and very comfortable ( bedside lighting could have been a bit brighter). The decor was rich and impressive as was the whole stay . Food was of a high quality and beautifully presented although breakfast " helpings " were not too generous . The staff were all fantastic and couldn't do enough to to help and make the stay enjoyable . Altogether the stay was like living in a different world !

Great location, fantastic food and luxurious place but beware hidden costs. The Valentines "deal" was delicious but not much of a deal once VAT was add and a service charge that is apparently discretionary was automatically added.

We had a 3 room suite with patio doors to a courtyard which was beautifully decorated with lovely features like a Nespresso coffee maker and Bose sound systems and even a tv over the bath. The hotel is converted houses so its a bit of a maze but has wonderful high ceilings and opulent decor. The bar and restaurant are cosy without feeling cramped and the service is excellent. The quality of the food is outstanding. There is obviously a very creative chef in charge of desserts because as well as tasting fabulous they are look like something from a fairy tale. My dessert had gingerbread, butter-beer ice cream and chocolate soil with tiny green shreds of sugar grass and even a teeny red and white sugar toadstool! The breakfast is full of locally produced artisan delicacies with such a wide variety it's hard to choose. We had a lovely weekend and would love to return.

just returned from a one night stay, hotel was fab! staff especially doorman (with kilt) and barman mark couldnt have been anymore helpful or friendly, was expecting staff to be stuck up but far from it! down to earth and couldnt do enough to make our stay extra special recieved a free room upgrade and was blown away by how luxurious the suite was!
stayed in house 4 in the only room not named after a wine or champayne cant recall the name began with v though
we had stayed as we were going to see ronan keating in concert and met the man himself having a coffee in the lounge again fantastic experience and planning to return again very soon!

we booked our room last year and so popped in early on the day of our stay to check our reservation only to find we had been upgraded from a standard room to a grand much to our delight !
The double aspect room was indeed grand and the four poster bed was the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in .
The bathroom was home to a very deep luxurious bath which sadly my husband and I couldn't enjoy fully. Trouble with the hot water system meant limited supplies Saturday evening and Sunday morning so luke warm water had to suffice . The hotel deputy manager was charming he did all he could to rectify the problem and was very apologetic. We have been offered a complimentary stay which we are very much looking forward to and very grateful for. The Devonshire Garden breakfast experience was second to none and we requested breakfast in our room which had a dining table situated under one of the windows overlooking the tree tops .
I can't recommend Du Vin highly enough lovely facilities and fantastic staff.

Thank you again for another wonderful night at my most loved Glasgow hotel!
Myself & now husband had our first date, our engagement & birthday celebrations here.
The service of all staff from the porter to breakfast waiting staff are excellent.
We enjoyed the chateaubriand for dinner with the most amazing bearnaise to accompany it, a little negative here would be the cold plate the food was served on (therefore food went cold very fast) & what you serve the steak with, enjoyed the spinach & sautéed potatoes however the tomato & green leave salad wasn't great and feel a hot alternative would have been a better option. Had the most amazing cheese to finish, which I look forward to on every visit, never a disappointment :))
We stayed in the Robert Mondavi room which is beautiful, with a roll top bath and a shower big enough for a football team haha... Everything is perfect in this room except the very squeaky bed, as beautiful as it is, it really needs changed or some screws tightened :))
Breakfast was fab, finished off lovely with the freshly squeezed OJ.
Thank you x

We enjoyed a lovely night in the hotel. We were warmly welcomed and offered a drink during our short wait to check in. We were fortunate enough to have been gifted the evening by my wife's parents and happier still to be given an upgrade to a gorgeous suite. The accommodation was first class, the restaurant very nice and the service from beginning to end faultless. The sommelier was very helpful assisting us to choose and discover a new favourite wine (The Dead Arm Shiraz). Service in the bar later was just as good.

Room Tip: The Hush Heath suite opens on to a small courtyard garden.
