Description: At Tropeiro Glasgow you will always be treated as a friend. Here you can enjoy the very sociable and relaxing Brazilian way of cooking and dining. Tropeiro is a meat lovers paradise. The selection of 12 cuts of delectable fire roasted meats is a heavenly treat. All the meats are prepared in the best "gaucho churrasco" tradition, where the particularities of each meat are respected from the seasoning to the cooking time so as to capture their individual flavours perfectly. The skewers are then brought to your table, sliced and served by the gaucho waiters.

Went for lunch 4 adults and 3 kids who eat free.Could not ask for better service.Buffet of salad, bread, dips and various hot stews, veg and potato wedges was all fresh and tasted great. The waiters came round the tables frequently with various meats beef, chicken, pork, sausages on sewers all lovely and hot.Our party are big meat eaters and we had plenty to try.
The drinks were a bit pricey £2.40 for lemonade for kids but are all restaurants not pricey for drinks. The surroundings are lovely and clean

was great, was in glasgow for one night and this was next to our hotel! my boyfriend and i went in at 5pm to an empty restaurant and were told we had to leave before 6, as there was 2 tables booked in. A bit dubious of that statement we were seated and a drinks order was taken.

We had the routine explained for unlimited salad bar and a waiter would come around with the meats and offer all to your plate. We were sitting right next to the grill but we didn't mind too much. the food was great and the salad bar was excellent. was a bit pricey but i expected that being a restaurant in a busy city centre.

If i go back to glasgow id return

Having been to many Brazilian Churrascaria restaurants in the past this is bottom of the list.
The meat service was very slow and the cuts of meat not the best. Salad bar was not refreshed and overall choice within the salad bar was not good enough.
It only has to do a little to improve and is certainly not poor but compared to other restaurants of this type it is average at best.
If you have never tried this style of dining then I would still say give it a go as you will enjoy it, especially if you like to eat a lot of meat.

We turned up 20 mins earlier than we'd booked and were still welcomed without a fuss and shown to our seats. Great selection of salads and sauces, and the Fish Stew was simply delicious...(and different). I smugly announced for them to 'Bring it!' when they said we could have 12 servings of meat, but by the 5th serving, it was a red card from me (that's how you signal when you've had enough). Good selection of meats and sausage, all very hot off the skewer and expertly cooked. At £22 pound per head we thought it good value, but the drinks were dear. A very average bottle of wine starts at £14.95 and they charge £3.85 for a bottle of tap water...that's a bit rich for us. Also, no Wifi. However, nice surroundings, warm and very busy - well organised and good service. Even as the place got busier, we never felt we were rushed to finish and leave. We'd recommend this place for something different.
