“Average food. City centre prices.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 17, 2012 via mobile

This place has a nice buzz about it and the deli food looks great. The servers are chirpy and professional. It is however overpriced unless you opt for the tapas menu which is 11 pounds for enough food to fill your belly. Maybe I chose wrong but I could make better food at home although the pasta was cooked perfectly.

“Great authentic Italian food!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 17, 2012

Celino's is one of (if not the best Italian Restaurants) within Glasgow. This restaurant is deceptive from the outside however when you go in it is like a little bit of Italy and you almost forget where you are. Great food and reasonable prices! Would highly recommend a visit!

“Little piece of Italy in Glasgows East End”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 6, 2012

Although at times we've had to wait for a table its been worth it! Been eating here for over a year and in that time have never had a bad meal! The staff are always very friendly and very eager to please, nothing is too much trouble! The place has a buzz about it and the prices are very competitive, go a mile or so into town and you could easily pay double. The food is fresh and well cooked and good value for money. Set menus are available too. There is also a fantastic deli counter stocked with all manner of Italian delights. Love this place.

“Highly enjoyable”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 3, 2012

Have eaten here twice over last 4 months I find this a really great eating place as it concentrates on what it does well which is to provide a good menu of fairly authentic Italian dishes, well cooked and served by staff who are very hard working, very efficient and yet friendly and chatty. There is a very relaxed atmosphere which disguises an extremely efficient operation all of which is accompanied by a very reasonable price tag.
The Sunday lunch menu on my first visit included sea bass filet cooked with prawns in a white wine sauce served with herb rice - superb. The home made ravioli starter was also very good and the price for this was around £12 - fantastic value. On the 2 occasions I have been to Celino's it has been extremely busy but there is a warm welcome and quick seating of all arrivals.
