The hotel is only 3 years old, and very hipster-oriented. Everything is stylish and cool.
The rooms have a touchscreen-remote-control, that not only controls the A/C and TV, but also controls the wakeup timer, and RGB color of the shower's lights (!!). The room came with a built-in stand for iPhone that can play your music. The shower comes with shampoo/body wash dispensers, the bed is quite large, but the room itself is rather small.
Parking is problematic - need to park around 800 meters away and pay 10 pounds a day.
Quite close to George Square and the center of town.
We very much enjoyed this unique hotel! It's an attraction of its own :)

Enjoyed our stay.
I loved the gadgets.
The room was compact but well designed and funky.
Don't bother with breakfast ...there are plenty of places within easy walking distance offering better value and quality.

Really cool hotel even for the oldies! Central, reasonably priced and helpful staff. Stored my suitcase all day. Room was small but perfectly formed, no frills but price reflects this. Loved the shower pod, never seen one in another hotel with the mood lighting!

Small room but very good and comfy hotel. Very good standard in the room, good cleaning and modern style. Also liked the check in on computer in reception. Breakfast was a bit small with a scotish standard.

Couldn't fault this hotel, we paid £66 for a one night stay and the room was perfect for a base in Glasgow. Food and drink is a wee bit pricey but we have seen even higher prices in Glasgow! Will be back again.

Hotel close to the centre great rooms contemporary very clean. Great service from staff there very attentive. The hotels is very quirky looked the styling. Rooms are small but great design and layout which makes most of the space and makes it seem a lot bigger. Shower pod with mood light was a great touch.

We didn’t expect to love CitizenM Hotel Glasgow, but we did. My travel agent dropped the ball on our last night in Scotland, and booked us a 4-hour train ride from where we wanted to be. When we found out at midnight the night before, we did a quick google search for last-minute hotel deals near Glasgow train station to find a restful night’s sleep before heading back to London. The big selling point from the website was air conditioning. It was also a great price.

Most people comment on the movies, and we frankly didn’t care so I was worried that “free movies” was the best thing about this hotel. It wasn’t.

I was also concerned that it was too modern / cool for our tastes and that we’d have a lot of noise from people partying, but really, it was the best sleep of the whole trip. They must have used extra insulation in the walls – I didn’t hear anything.

Upon arrival, there are several computers set up for you to automatically check-in, but there are friendly people there to help as well. The room was a small rectangle (the bed was the entire width, but it was a fairly big bed). The furniture was modern, but comfortable.

Everything about the room was well thought-out to provide amenities in limited space. The designer was a good problem-solver. Rather than a closet, there was a clothes rod inset in a partition wall and a huge drawer under the bed. The toilet and shower are enclosed together, with the sink out in the main room. There is a curtain that you can pull to separate the entryway/sink from the bed & desk. There is fun / funky LED lighting to adjust for color & mood. And black-out curtains (yay!!!) on a remote control.

I suppose I should close with this: as we were thinking about our return to London, my spouse wanted to see if they had London rooms available, but the car we'd hired was picking us up at the pre-booked London hotel. That's the only thing that stopped us from paying an additional 65+ pounds to stay in their London hotel instead of the place that was already paid is the commitment for the transition to Heathrow.
