15 is a beautiful place that clearly is loved as a business and a home. It has been lovingly restored with no expense spared. The sheer attention to detail in the specification of the building is outstanding not to mention the love and care that is put into looking after the guests. This place is second to none. The way the breakfast was presented and how it tasted was wonderful....even the coffee was amazing. Attention to detail with pleasantness and efficiency is in the DNA of the experience. If you went anywhere else in Glasgow you would seriously want your head examining. This is outstanding in terms of both experience and value!

What a find. Beautiful old building, huge rooms, lovely bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful.the breakfast was nice and brought to your room, what more do you want. All for a reasonable £99. Believe me I have stayed in similar boutique style places all over the world, and that is good value in my opinion. A stones throw from SECC and central shopping area, yet quiet and safe neighbourhood. Some minor quibbles - rooms on top floor involve going up several flights of stairs so if you have trouble with stairs ask for rooms lower down. Car parking is either on street at the front (1£ an hour during 8-6) or round the back in a private car park . Only problem was no back door access to that so involved a 5 minute walk round to the front. That said I still loved the place and will be returning.

We stayed at 15 Glasgow for 2 nights to end up a great tour of Scotland.
The family house is really gorgeous and decorated with taste.

The room was very spacious and so was the bathroom.
Unfortunately some details made the stay less appreciated than we were expecting.

The mixing valve of the rain shower was really difficult, not to say impossible to adjust and resulted in showers either scalding, either glacial.
The sink was obstructed. The subfloor heating wasn't switched on and we were never able to understand how it worked.

Breakfast was ok.

Although 15 Glasgow tends to be a luxury boutique B&B, standards are not up to it and therefore, we found the price excessively high.

We are really frustrated and hugely disappointed to read this review! I am not sure which room the guests stayed in but all our bathrooms have the same showers, sinks and underfloor heating and this is the first time in nearly 3 years that we have found a guest had difficulty in using. Our mixer valves where chosen specifically as they have 2 controls only, 1 for on/ off and 1 for temperature, i can only assume there was something wrong with the valve if the correct temperature could not be created. I am not sure how the sink could become obstructed and the underfloor heating has an on/off switch on the wall outside the bathroom. To my knowledge the guest did not mention during their stay the problems they were having? All guest are given my mobile number on check in and there is a bell to ring inside the house to contact us at any time during the stay. If the guest had contacted us we would have responded immediately and rectified the issues.
We pride ourselves on our breakfast, scottish smoked salmon, free range eggs, stornaway black pudding, freshly squeezed juices, the finest italian coffee etc. and go to great lengths to always provide what is requested if not on the menu. As all previous guest would testify no request for assistance or help with anything is ever refused. WE wish our guests had given us the opportunity to make there stay better for them while they were here. Laura

15 Glasgow offers travellers a calm, quiet atmosphere in a very refined environment.....close to parkland, great restaurants (Fanny Trollope's, Lamora & Athena) and just a stroll away from the wonderful Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. Laura was most helpful with all of the details of our stay in the well appointed Drawing Room. There was a slight bobble with housekeeping that was rectified promptly--- which was much appreciated.

Breakfasts were lovely with a fair bit of choice to suit both continental and full breakfast dining, and the timing was spot on for our 3 mornings. Parking was available behind the building, which does involve a 6 minute walk around the block through to the alley if you cannot get a paid parking spot in front......good to know if you've got luggage to move.

Overall we thought it was a wonderful boutique inn, though it would have been perfect if we'd have had some storage area in the bathroom for a shaving kit and toiletries etc. There was no countertop or proper shelving, though the bathroom itself is quite large. As well, the sofa area could do with a proper coffee table. But these are small details, and did not significantly hinder our enjoyment of the property.

We'd most definitely return if travelling again to Glasgow!

Just back from a stay at 15 and it was amazing. Even though there is a 2 night minimum stay policy at the weekend we were allowed to stay for one night as they were closing for Christmas the following day. As soon as you walk in you know that you are somewhere really special as you ascend up the majestic staircase. Laura, the hostess, is lovely and very welcoming. We were shown to our room - and wow. We had been upgraded free of charge to one of the suites "just because it's Christmas". The suite (The Drawing Room) was absolutely huge and very tastefully decorated - probably the nicest room I've ever been in! Lots of lovely touches around the room like tunnocks tea cakes, an ipod dock, underfloor heating in the bathroom, rainfall shower..the list goes on!! It was very hard to leave the room and go out as it was such a special place to spend time. The only absolutely tiny niggle was that the pillows weren't great - they were quite flat and not big fluffy feather pillows that a room like this deserves! Another small niggle was that our room door did not lock despite being given a key for it? It seemed like the lock was broken. We both slept very well and 15 is located in a really quiet resedential area with no street noise at all. And it's only 5 minutes walk from the city centre Sauchiehall street.

The breakfast was also lovely and delivering it to your room at a time slot of your choice was a perfect touch. Had a peep into the guest lounge and it looked lovely - very Christmassy and the whole place just a real homely feeling. This is exactly the kind of place I dream of living in (if only I won the lottery!!) Only wish we could have stayed longer and would definitely go back if I got the chance.

If you stay here you will not be disappointed!

Room Tip: The Drawing Room is gorgeous!

From the moment that Laura phoned me in the morning (owner) to say she looked forward to seeing me later that day, did I need a parking space etc. I knew I'd found a good place to stay. On arrival, received a warm welcome by laura and shown the gorgeous guest lounge and then to the completely massive bedroom. Laura advised on where to eat nearby. Our room was beautifully decorated and fully equipped.
I felt that if we needed anything we could have asked Laura - but we didn't need anything - everything was thought of!

I loved that breakfast was served in the room - and that cereal/fruit juice etc. came first - and cooked food 10 mins later.

By far, my favourite place to stay in Glasgow and can't wait to go back.
Well done Laura & co... You blow the rest out of the water.

We stayed for 3 nights recently and everything was just perfect. The breakfasts served in the room were first class. There was a huge choice on the menu including a fabulous cooked breakfast of cereals, toast, pastries, croissants, fresh fruit salad and more !
The establisment is very clean and tastefully decorated. The bedrooms are massive and so relaxing due to the comfy beds and tasteful decor.
Downstairs there is a welcoming lounge where classical music is quietly playing.
Laura and her staff could not have been more attentive or welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. We hope to return again very soon.
