The best food I've had for a long time. The drinks are superb and reasonably priced. Excellent experience all round. Go there and try it!

“Trying hard and succeeding”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 4, 2013 via mobile

We dropped in for drinks before dinner at No16 over the road and were delighted to have done so.

With a recently redesigned interior and menu, this is a well thought out, clean and properly designed bar restaurant. Well run and staffed, we were made to feel welcome and treated individually rather than as a commodity.

The drinks menu was very good with a range of WEST beers and some different imports and a fresh twist on perennial favourites, like the "Best Ever G&T" with citrus oils, cucumber and juniper berries (yeah a tiny bit OTT but you know what, they're right. It was pretty much the best I've had!)

The staff were great, bringing drinks, lending us a phone charger, taking time with us and ensuring drinks were just so spot on.

A pub quiz kicked off after 8. A bit quirky but also a little incongruous. Had we stayed, I'm sure it would have been up to the high standard of the rest of the bar.

Well done The Two Figs, you were a good find and I would happily come back.

“The 2 Figs, always a favourite”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 3, 2013

This is my current favourite restaurant and bar. Intimate, cosy, always cheerful and lively in the bar area and a friendly, welcoming ambience throughout. As I am mainly vegetarian but also eat some fish I am always spoiled for choice here. Recent highlight was a wonderful special spicy dish of sumac sea bass with amazing Lebanese potatoes and salad. My friend had a fantastic white chocolate cheesecake and we both really enjoyed all 3 courses. Our server was just great, cheerful and friendly as well as efficient. What's not to like?

“Absolutely smashing, can't wait to go back :D”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2013

Gorgeous food and really good value. I had the veggie burger which was delicious along with rosemary chips. Puddings were sublime, my son had sticky figgy pudding and a friend the cheesecake special which was white chocolate and orange.
Thanks guys for a lovely meal!

“Good, honest food for a very fair price”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 25, 2013

We came here by accident (the restaurant that was recommended to us was full), and we loved it. Small but highly original menu, with something for everyone's taste. Very friendly staff and great atmosphere. Looking for a good meal in the West End of Glasgow? Don't look any further, go to the Two Figs!
