“A beautifull spot in Glasgow”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 28, 2013

It's a very small and characteristic spot in the city. It's a warm, well furbished, nice place to have a good dinner.
Meals were delicious, fish, meat, vegetables, and in particular the dessert (the apple-berry-biscuit one is ASTONISHING).
A little bit expensive, maybe, but very very nice. I'll be back for sure.

“Tasty food, pleasant service & neat interior”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 27, 2013

I've lunched here several times but never had dinner, Sunday roast or breakfast so I can't comment on the quality of some dishes. However, I've always been satisfied with nearly every aspect of the dinner, especially the food. That being said the menu is quite confusing and could do with simplifying and the portion sizes can be erratic: their sandwiches are thick slabs while my £5 pork belly lunch was disappointingly small. The service is very friendly, though the food can be slow to arrive. All in all a great, clever little eaterie in the South Side.

“Best restaurant in Glasgow!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 27, 2013 via mobile

Have been here lots of times now and has never come up short of fantastic. The selection is limited but absolutey delicious. The chefs seem to take a real pride in their work and the rest of the staff are just as good. A great unique place.

“Lovely breakfast”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 20, 2013

Went here for the first time today looking online at places to go. Food was lovely. Had eggs Benedict my husband had Stornaway tower. Nice atmosphere and great staff. Will be back again very soon. If you like tea get the tea it's really nice. Think breakfast is served to 5pm but would double check :)

“A bit of a disappointment”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 4, 2013

Had great expectations of this place given reviews but very disappointed. 3 of us had lunch last Sat and we all really did not enjoy. My kedgeree was full of oil and very greasy and had an upset stomach all day. Pulled pork cold and sanwich mediocre with chutney pieces the size of craters. Real shame
