“Best seafood platter in the city...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 12, 2013 via mobile

If you get the chance, order the seafood platter. It is brilliant, plentiful, and very tasty. Some of the tables downstairs are a bit cramped, I prefer to sit at the seafood bar or upstairs. The staff are very attentive, the food consistently good.

“Seafood in Glasgow”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 10, 2013

Crabshakk vies with The Fish People Cafe for the best seafood in Glasgow. In terms of location it is probably better as Finnieston is now full of great restaurants and bars. You can spend the whole evening and not go more than 250 metres going from place to place. The crab cakes are worth the visit alone. when the sun shines sit outside eat great seafood from the West of Scotland, drink a glass of ice cold wine and watch the world go by.......

“Lovely!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 9, 2013 via mobile

I often pop in for lunch and a glass of wine, always tasty!
Went with a few friends for an evening mean and wasn't disappointed! The girl serving us was lovely, nothing a problem for her! Food was delicious and fresh!

Would recommend!

“Back to its best”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 6, 2013

I was disappointed last time but maybe because we were sat at the door, this time we were upstairs, what a difference? The portions are plentiful , the food is fresh and tasty but the service between courses was slow, it was a friday night i guess it was quite busy.
This is a great establishment serving top quality food but as before i suggest bigger premises, its just too small, sea food eaters need room and it doesn't exist here , i know its easy for me to say, i don't pay the lease but surely it has been considered. There were 5 of us, £166, worth it

“Good meal”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 4, 2013

Booked a pre theatre dinner here before going to the new Hydro this week. Food was great - partner felt that the liqour in the moules mariniere could have been reduced a bit more but still enjoyed it.
Seats were a bit cramped, if there was a bit more room would have scored 5 instead of 4 given that the prices are not cheap!
However, will definitely go back as soon as we can!
