“Great value, authentic surroundings and friendly staff”
Reviewed October 31, 2013

I go here quite often for the 2 course lunch menu at £8.50. Food is always excellent and service is fast and provided with a smile. Good choice of authentic food and toned down versions for western tastes. Always packed with Malaysian/Asia clients which for me is always a good sign in an authentic restaurant. Good value in handy city location. Menu at night is more extensive, more expensive but also more original. Only been once or twice at night but has a more intimate feel.

“Great value. Feels authentic”

Late lunch in Glasgow today. Foo Yung and some noodles at 1600 hrs. Nice pot of Jasmine Tea. Delightful staff and very reasonable at @£12. Well worth a visit.

“Excellent value, good service, tasty food”
Reviewed October 6, 2013

I have walked past this restaurant many a time and it never really looked that appealing however my girlfriend is a big fan of all Asian cuisine so we gave it a go. We went as a party of 4 and had a good variety of dishes. The drinks menu was very interesting and had different fruit flavoured drinks and the food was delicious both rice and noodle dishes. I would definitely recommend giving this place a go as it also is very reasonably priced too.The service was friendly and very helpful.

“Quite authentic”
Reviewed October 4, 2013

Being a born & bred Malaysian, I am always on the look out for good Malaysian eating places overseas. Finally decided to try Rumours having lived in Glasgow for more than a year now. Food is good enough, not fabulous, as some have mentioned but near authentic considering it might be difficult to find some of the ingredients (I know because there are certain things that are not sold anywhere in Glasgow!). We had keropok lekor (doesnt look or taste anything like the real thing), soft shell crab (yum) & garlic vegetables (yum too). Will come again to try other dishes.
