This is a buzzing informal restaurant with very helpful professional staff. The tables are close together and the ceiling is low, but this contributes to the atmosphere of a bustling bistro. The price of the wine is excellent about £13.00, so the bill is not inflated by this.
My husband had the warm mackerel salad and the Stifado - both very good. I had the potted pork, with lovely marmalade and the chicken with black pudding crush. Again very good. We were not disappointed despite eating at the Two Fat Ladies City last time - the final bill was less than half of the but the food was as good quality as it's more upmarket siblings.
